Sweet little Black Caviar has overcome some health troubles, including having stomach surgery when she was itty bitty.

Her next obstacle? Finding a forever family! 🏡

She has mild special needs as she has Megaesophagus. She'll do best with canned food, a daily antacid, and a tilted food dish that brings her food up just a bit higher.

Hi everyone!

It's Pascal here (my new name is Bear) and I wanted to say hello to everyone from my adoptive home. I was accepted right away by resident cat Boots and we are good buddies already.

My human mom says I am growing fast and I have the longest cat legs that she has ever seen. I've been quite popular and friendly with everyone that I meet. Thanks Helping PAWS Pet Rescue for finding me a comfortable indoor home and loving family!

The cat we introduced yesterday, Bluebird, has kittens! (Bluebird needed a back leg amputation to make sure she lives a pain free, high quality life.)

Bluebird's kittens Fiddle and Banjo are now in our care. They are still getting used to people but are gaining more confidence each day. 😍

Here at Helping PAWS Pet Rescue, we focus on medical cases when we can help.

When Bluebird the cat found herself abandoned in Ashland with a crushed lower back leg, someone noticed and called us to help. While the damage was beyond repair, an amputation will allow her to live pain and infection free.

We love when friendships form between cats at the rescue who previously didn't know each other. Polka Dot and Tupelo Honey have become even better friends in their foster home as Polka gives Tupelo confidence, and Tupelo provides motherly care to Polka. We hope they can find an adoptive home together!
