Help! We have a few dogs that would be grateful for a cold weather foster. If you can help for the next week or two, please complete the cold weather foster application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/foster/HOTO/Dog. Or better yet, they would love to find their forever homes tomorrow! Melvern "Mel" and Boz are now neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and ready to bust out of here and head into a new life!

We also have several adult dogs who would need to be the only pet, so if that fits your household, please consider cold weather fostering for us!

Taki is still nervous and decompressing but sheā€™s very sweet and gentle. Dog friendly and people friendly. Sheā€™s great in the house! No accidents and hasnā€™t tried to chew anything up. ā˜ŗļø

In all the cold weather dog fostering, we forgot to tell you about super sweet Sammy who had his back leg amputated late last week. He is now back at the Haven but he really deserves a loving forever home to recover in. He is getting along very well and just needs lots of love. He loves to cuddle and chill with people. Shiloh (formerly Apple Jack-one of Cheerio's pups)

Shiloh has been settling down quite well. He was pretty skittish but he's getting a lot more relaxed. He's been playing with our dachshund and having great walks.

Bee Gee

BeeGee is loving a soft couch and some new plush squeaky toys. She's been great with the kids (ages 13 & 10) but we haven't introduced her to the cats yet. She is very shy now but super loving and does well going in her crate and going outside to go potty.

Foster dog: WoofWoof is still a little shy, but heā€™s warming up to us! He really is the sweetest boy.

ADOPTED!!!!

You may recognize Abbott as our abandoned dog who took about a week to catch. He's a good, handsome boy! Abbott is still nervous and needs a patient family to show him love and security. He doesn't act like anyone has ever taught him to walk on a leash or really done anything at all with him. Abbott is worth the time it will take to build his confidence and teach him how to be a family member! He's about a year old, right at 55 pounds, and good with other dogs (in fact, they could be a security blanket for Abbott). This sweet boy stayed at the Haven in the cat room since his vet appointment is this week. He will be ready for his forever home on Wednesday. Could you be the one to give Abbott the happy life he deserves?

Boz is an adorable and cuddly young pup who loves to play. His estimated DOB is 10/20/24. He gets along well with other dogs and cats. If you're looking for a great pup, this is your guy! His vet day is 1/7/25 and will be ready to join his new family on 1/8/25. Because he had his neuter scheduled, Boz didn't go to foster (he's hanging out inside in the cat room) so he's ready to go to his forever home this week! Happy adoption week to Crate, Beth, Mama, Eden and Nugent, and Moo! Many thanks to their adopters for choosing a Haven pet. And, of course, we're sending tons of appreciate to our cold weather fosters for the week. It's so heartwarming to see how the community of animal lovers came together for the dogs. Puppy playtime with the Saints and their brother from another mother, Moo!

Gin, Black Jack, and Binnie enjoyed some fun play time together yesterday! All three are friendly,.sweet, and love other dogs. If you've been thinking about adopting, please consider one of these awesome pups!

Bellini arrived at the Haven with nine 1 day old puppies at the end of September. Bellini has been a fabulous mom and she will make a great pet for anyone. Her puppies are adorable and many of them have beautiful blue eyes šŸ¤©. Bellini and her puppies are now available for adoption. They will be ready to go home on 11/20. We believe Bellini is a flat coated retriever but no clue what the pups are mixed with. Adoptions are half price, so come on out and get your pick of the litter!

Cisco is doing great and is ready for her purrfect forever home. Come out and meet her any day between 9 -4. This girl is adorable and deserves to find a great home!
