ADOPTED! Now 3 pieces of my heart will be living in Nebraska. EJ’s new parents flew here to adopt her and got to come over yesterday to meet her and have some playtime with her. This morning I dropped her at the airport and she will board her flight in about an hour and a half. I don’t want to get overly mushy here, but you all know how special this day is for me. For weeks she wouldn’t eat and we had to tube feed her. This is the day I prayed for. When she was struggling to survive, this is the picture I had in my mind. Cider is a stunning tabby kitten with cute white ankle socks and the most gentle, loving personality. He’s got big cute puppydog eyes that you just can’t say no to. Can you? No, you can’t! Furthermore, if he were actually a dog, he’d definitely be the archetypal “good boy.” He is genuinely just a good pup who only wants for someone to love him, play with him, and snuggle up with him.

Found all alone in a backyard, he has been bottle-raised since he was an infant, and has grown to be a trusting, affectionate young boy who loves people and the other kittens in the nursery. He and his friends are looking for homes in San Diego, or anywhere within 6 hours driving distance. Pairs preferred, solo considered (only for adopters who already have at least one cat.)
