Summers / today vs. two years ago. Some great things never change.

(Re)introducing Flike, my longest serving dog sitting and walking client (and also my own personal, all around *amazing* dog), who I’ve had the privilege of looking after for the past five, nearly six(!!) years. Summer 2024 may be over, but its memories will stick around forever.

These two Goldendoodles need no introduction… okay maybe a short one: Schuyler and Wilhelmina mark our 99th and 100th (canine) clients. It has been a privilege and an absolute pleasure looking after and getting to know all of these dogs and their families throughout the just under two years we’ve been in business. A lot has changed and a lot has stayed the same throughout the past (and first!) year at DC Dog Sitting. We’ve welcomed so many new furry faces into our family with 60+ dogs alongside their families (and counting). While we’ve greatly expanded, our values of providing quality, individual care to dogs and their owners have remained the same. We can’t wait to see what the next year has in store for us!

We had the pleasure of spending last weekend with Aurora, a 4 month old puppy! We are so so honored to have been enlisted to help out for the first(!!) time Aurora has been left overnight since she was adopted — she did amazing!
