Bringing your Cat to the Vet- here’s what you need to know! 😻
•All feline patients need to arrive in a carrier! (We recommend to also them in the carrier until your vet nurse comes in- this is so we don’t lose them under the table or furniture!)
•If your cat typically becomes stressed by vet visits, one of our veterinarians may prescribe pre-visit meds for the next visit. Make sure to give these as directed, as they are time-sensitive!
•When bringing multiple cats at a time, we recommend they each have their own carrier. (We aim to avoid one of the cats getting upset, upsetting the other, and then having two angry cats smooshed into one carrier together 🫠)
•If you anticipate one or more of your pets may become easily stressed at their visit, we may also recommend you schedule one at a time instead of bringing both pets at the same time. This is to ensure the best chances of keeping stressors low.
Give any of our locations a call to schedule! We are happy to answer any questions, should you have any!📞
