Pretty much everything that is soft and clean can be repurposed for shelters. _Definitely_ baby cushions, towels, washcloths and soft sweaters. Pets do not care about stains and small holes.

Recently, there was a major safety recall on infant Boppy Loungers. Rather than cutting them in half and destroying them as the manufacturer suggests, please keep our furry friends in mind. These make wonderful beds for cats, kittens, and small dogs! These loungers have a dip in the middle of them allowing animals to snuggle in feeling safe and secure.

If you or someone you know has a defective lounger, feel free to drop it off at our office located at 2101 W. Walnut Street. The critters would be ever so grateful. 💕

As lovely as their personalities are, I just feel so bad for the genetic burdens put on Bulldogs.

Please be safe out there! Just got word from a fellow classmate (ER veterinarian in Seattle area) during her shift yesterday they had 8 dogs DOA due to heat stroke, most short nosed breeds! Please provide shade, plenty of water, allow access to house if possible and DO NOT take any walks unless early in the morning. ~ Dr. S
