Prior to finalizing an adoption, each dog is spayed or neutered, receives a comprehensive veterinary examination and appropriate tests and inoculations. They follow up with advice, support and appropriate resources to assure a successful integration of each dog into his or her new home.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!!
This day can be a RUFF day for dogs! Loud-pops from fireworks can cause our furry friends to panic and run. Might want to keep them in doors with their favorite chew toys.

Free and open to the public, the Great Country Mutt Show is a Westminster-style Dog Show that celebrates all breeds and creeds!
It will be a fun day for a great cause– is pet rescue organization based in Cornwall, CT.

CALLING ALL DOG LOVERS! J. McLaughlin & Depot Dog join forces to host a fundraiser for Spotty Dog Rescue at the J. McLaughlin store in Litchfield, Thurs., June 6th, from 1 to 5 pm.
Along with adoption, fostering is an equally important need for this amazing rescue organization. Come hear how to foster and step through the adoption process with two people who are experienced in doing both.
*A percentage of proceeds from both J. McLaughlin and Depot Dog will go to support the Spotty Dog Rescue organization.
