Rescue Movement Alliance Our Mission is to save animals through collaboration and education. Some we find as strays on the side of the road. This colony had 10 cats total.

We focus on a fun, foster-based approach to reduce shelter stress and increase the chances of finding the perfect adoption match. We plan to restore hope for rescue animals in need through encouraging and educating people on fostering and adoption. We will accomplish this primarily through hosting fun interviews with thought leaders, local rescues, animal behavioral experts, etc. These interviews

will be shared on social media, YouTube and potentially a podcast in order help reveal where our efforts are needed most, so we can make the biggest and most needed impact. By educating people on the specifics of dog breeds and encouraging foster care especially before fully committing to adopting a soul in need, we hope to prevent animals from being returned to shelters or even worse, being neglected or abandoned. Majority of the animals we rescue are referrals or euthanasia at the vet where my sister works. One special occasion was when
our neighbor threatened to euthanize the stray cat colony in our neighborhood if we didn’t catch and re-home them all. For all animals we take in we make sure they are healthy, neutered/ spayed, up to date on vaccines and provided food and shelter. We know that rescue animals thrive best in foster homes where they can get the one on one attention and care they need in order to truly flourish. That is why we are adamant educating and promoting fostering. We can only house so many animals, so our ability to continue serving as many animals as possible rely on our foster homes. Occasionally, we will agree to re home a beloved pet after all resources to keep that pet in their current home has been exhausted. Rescuing a pet is a lifelong commitment, however we understand that life circumstances can change. We truly want that animal to be able to fully thrive in their home, which sometimes sadly means finding a better fitting family. Our future plans include co-creating conscious sanctuaries where locals, travelers and animals are all welcomed. All items within the sanctuary will be locally sourced/thrifted, restored and sustainable. There will be shared rooms and individual rooms, yurts, cabins, campers, etc. Connecting our community together will be a communal kitchen, gym and co-working spaces. Free roaming rescue animals, who are available for adoption will have dedicated areas for humans to love on them and hopefully adopt them. We will offer animal daycare for traveling patrons and office space renters. Potential adopters will have the opportunity to stay over night with the rescue animal they are interested in adopting in order to confirm it’s “a match”. Our sanctuaries will even provide event space for workshops, retreats and educational programs. Our ultimate Vision is to ensure no human or animal gets left behind by encouraging other thought leaders to cultivate conscious communities and build sustainable sanctuaries in order to provide opportunities for people to connect with and stand up for rescue animals and our planet’s overall well-being. Donation Profits will go towards paying off our thousands of dollars in debt to the vet for the cats we have rescued so far. As well as, providing the rescue animals in our care with food, shelter and any necessary medical care. Remaining proceeds will help us begin development on building our Sanctuaries, which will provide opportunities for people to connect, co-create, grow and most importantly meet the rescue animals!

Most humans find dogs, but this dog found a human. Similar to what cats do…While Max was out deer hunting, Buck appeared, decided Max was his person, and refused to leave his side. Even when given the freedom to run, Buck stayed close, showing his incredible loyalty.

We’ve named him Buck, and he already responds to it. Buck is the perfect mix of playful and chill. He knows “sit” (though it’s an excited sit!) and “come.” He’s eager to please, gentle, and instinctively well-behaved—he didn’t even try to get on the bed & peacefully slept in his bed all night, even until 9am when I got up!

Buck loves playing tug-of-war and can keep himself quietly entertained with toys for hours. He’s great with cats and isn’t fazed by small, snappy dogs. With his affectionate and easygoing nature, Buck is destined to be an incredible companion.

A Heartbreaking Past, a Hopeful Future�Though Buck is loving and eager to bond, he shows signs of a rough past. When my dad playfully moved his hand near Buck’s head, Buck flinched—a heartbreaking reaction that suggests he’s been mistreated. Despite this, Buck’s spirit remains unbroken. He just wants to love and be loved.
Unfortunately, his microchip led us to a dead end—the contact info is outdated, and his previous owners have moved away. We don’t believe Buck ran away; he’s too loyal for that.

We Need Your Help—Urgently�We’re looking for a foster or forever home for Buck by tomorrow morning. I have to leave for a dog-sitting commitment, and we don’t have another place for him to go.

Urgent: Found Dog Needs Foster or Forever Home!

We found a sweet, approximately 10-month-old pup with no collar or microchip. He’s not neutered and was covered in fleas, but he’s incredibly friendly and well-behaved! He loves playing rough with other dogs, and he quickly bonds with anyone who shows him love—definitely not a typical “runaway.”

He did great in a kennel on his first night but is just as happy roaming freely in our home. He also loves to “walk himself” on a leash and thinks he’s a lap dog—he’ll snuggle right on top of you!
We urgently need a foster or forever home by TOMORROW as I’ll be going out of town.

Please help me Save Maxwell & Mitsy’s Lives! We are a 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue. We are only able to take in cats, but that doesn’t mean dogs don’t need our help!

Mitsy is a loving 6 year old Standard Poodle who is in need of a foster or forever home as soon as possible. She is 40 pounds of pure love and affection. She loves kids and is very playful, she is a true Velcro dog and will stick by your side through thick and thin. She will be euthanized if she does not find a home or foster home by September 1st.

Maxwell was dumped by a women at her rescuer’s worksite. The woman unloaded her in a crate. Maxwell is friendly with kids, playful, good in her crate and catching on to potty training really well! Her rescuers are moving and URGENTLY need to find a forever home for her. Maxwell is only 30 lbs right now, she is good with other dogs, and will fit into your family seamlessly. She loves to make new friends and is a friendly, curious girl. She's also energetic and loves to play, so she'll fit right in with an active family.

If you're looking for a dog who will be your loyal companion, look no further than Maxwell. She's a beautiful girl who will be your best friend for life.

Frappe is the epitome of a true cat: independent, friendly, and wonderfully unique. At about 8-12 months old, she has already shown her resilient spirit and charming personality.

Rescued from a precarious situation, Frappe was abandoned at a house in a dangerous area. The kind people who rescued her couldn’t keep her inside due to allergies, so she lived on their front porch in a dog kennel for a few weeks until we stepped in to find her a forever home where she could truly thrive.

Frappe minds her own business but loves to rub up against you and enjoys being petted. While she’s not the biggest fan of other cats, she tolerates them and does well with dogs. One of her most endearing traits is her talkative nature; she’s always ready to have a chat with you.

Last night this innocent soul was thrown from a vehicle going 55 mph.

Last night his life was forever transformed— he was saved by the people who saw this horrific act!

Today we get to celebrate his rescue & give him a name as triumphant as his survival story!

Got Mice? or space in your heart & home that only a meow could fill? Maybe you’ve considered fostering, but have no idea how it works? We’re here to help!

We created Rescue Movement Alliance due to the extreme overwhelm of animals in need and our inability to turn a blind eye at this glaring issue. Rescue Movement Alliance is a nonprofit foster-based animal rescue because we know the positive impact fostering vs being lonely in a loud shelter can make on an animal. Fostering is a rewarding experience that saves lives, requires no financial responsibility on your end and most importantly allows us to continue our vital rescue work.

When a foster parent falls so madly in with their foster pet that they can’t imagine being separated, so they decide to adopt, we call that a “foster fail” 😉 We LOVE a perfect pairing, but this typically ends their ability to continue to foster due to limited space, time, etc.

We currently have 6 additional cats in our home (on top of our actual pets, which is A LOT 😅), turning our house more into a chaotic “shelter” environment than peacefully home. So we are DESPERATELY in need of new fosters or even better adopters!

We believe Doodle and Sparkles truly would be best as outdoor cats, which we would ensure they are safely relocated and require they are still routinely fed and provided vaccines and care as needed. Midnight and Whisky are so sweet and with some attentive love and patience could become incredible indoor companions! Bug is our newest, TINIEST addition. She currently needs lots of TLC, so she isn’t yet available for adoption, but boy is she as CUTE as bug! *stay tuned for photos*

Due to our urgency to find homes for these precious felines we have decreased the adoption fee from $150 to $50. We are so extremely grateful for Painting with a Twist to host this incredible fundraiser event for us! We had such a blast and were blown away by the incredible support from our local community. We made so many new friends! It was such a blast getting to see everyone creatively and uniquely bring their fur babies to life on canvas. Literally, during the event I had people asking “when are you doing this again?!” 😂 …we hope we get the opportunity to soon! If you haven’t gone to Paint Your Pet, I highly recommend it!

Genius!!!

Last week during the first few blizzards we saw a lost tiny puppy at our farm IN THE BLIZZARD. The dog immediately ran away when I called out for it and despite our efforts to track his prints in the snow we had no luck finding him before it got dark out. We posted on Nextdoor and connected with the owner. She said he had been missing for 8 days and is only 6 months old. We looked a few other times, then finally the third day my brother spotted it by the lake with his drone!! He continued to track it until the owner was able to come over and help finally catch him moments before the drone’s battery was going to die. Furball, yes that’s his real name, was only days away from being out in these negative degrees weather and likely would’ve died.

Teaching your dog this simple trick, along with having an AirTag in general would most definitely guarantee you never have to worry about losing your dog! But if you do, consider using a drone to help track it down. 😉
