The process of puppy’s first experience at a grooming salon is very over stimulating. There are so many “news”.
New smells
New people
New noises
New feelings
New experiences that they don’t get at home…
It takes patience in order to keep them comfortable with each new thing that we introduce to them along with constant positive reinforcement.

Nash’s Before photo shows his true emotion when I first put him on the table.
Nash’s After photo is a reflection of what a slow introductory process can do for a puppy. It may add an addition 30-45 mins to a typical groom, but that time is crucial for them to learn to trust the process.

The time inbetween their first few grooms is also crucial. If they are not reintroduced to being groomed within a couple months, they will forget the positive reinforcement that was initially given and begin to believe that coming to the groomer is punishment vs. a necessary routine.
Routine is key to training with all puppies as they are developing and learning how life works.
Oh, and you cannot forget the yummy reward treats at the end! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Wanting to throw out an idea that I think would be a fun addition to our salon…
I would like to start providing
“Creative Grooming”
which would be including pet safe hair coloring… this is time consuming and I am not capable of providing the service with my busy schedule currently. Soooo..

I am wanting to see if there is anyone out there that has some creative and artistic abilities to join our team and provide these services for my clients!! Other options could be nail painting, feather extensions, stick on jewels fun bow and bandana makings etc etc.

Here are some more simple example pictures but the possibilities are endless!
I am willing to provide some basic grooming skills as you go along, and would be able to work with you on a full dogs service with this added in if clients request it.
More info can be discussed. Please PM Our business page if you would be interested.
This is NOT a full time job offering.
