After a crazy storm this morning, we were lucky to have beautiful weather for our first Trail Ride Thursday for 2024!
9 horses, 7 riders & 2 two trail guides - what a fun time we had. Looking forward to our June trail ride 🤩

Last weekend our two working students competed in their first show of the season at MDPH Open Show Series. They had some great rides that showed improvement between both horse and rider throughout the day.

We’ve had a lot of horse show fun at the barn these past two weeks!

Yesterday we held our first show of the season for our riding students. Everyone had good rides, and left the show ring with smiles, ribbons and something to work on for the next show ☺️

Last week we held our first ever Trail Class Night! Riders got to complete a trail pattern, most of which, have never done trail before. Everyone had a blast, even the horses.

MDPH Open Show Series held their year-end awards banquet on Saturday where we celebrated everyone’s achievements from the 2023 show season. The weather was against us this year with horse shows getting cancelled or postponed due to rain, flooding, & smoke from wild fires! The VTFE team had a fantastic season despite all of that, with each of our riders coming out Grand or Reserve Champions! Congratulations to all! 2024 show season will be here before you know it❤️🖤

There are no other words that come to mind to describe yesterdays show other than amazing! The third group of the VTFE Show Team had their first show of the season yesterday at Cloverleaf SaddleClub.

The way these kids support each other in and out of the show ring is something truly incredible to witness. We are beyond proud of each and every one of you and can’t wait to see what the rest of the season has in store for you all❤️🖤

Today was the second show of the season for the MDPH group, this time with beautiful weather! Although there were a few bobbles, everyone rode well and came out of the show pen with smiles.

This past weekend our second group from the VTFE show team had their first show of the season at Plainfield Riding Club! Even though the majority of this group only has one year of showing under their belt, and others this is their first show season, they SHOWED UP and rode with confidence and poise and we couldn’t be more proud! As always, the horses were great and were excited to watch this group continue on through their season and see them grow in the show pen. ❤️🖤

Big shoutout to Gavin Fink for tagging along, helping get the horses ready and helping with the leadline!

Horse show season has begun 🤩

Our first group from the VTFE show team had their first show yesterday at the MDPH Open Show Series! Although it was a gloomy and rainy day, we made the best of it. Riley made her horse show debut and Cayla & Gavin both showed Ruby at her second show to date. Everyone rode well, the horses were good and most importantly, we had fun! These kids never cease to amaze us and make us very proud❤️🖤
