Standing MRI’s are a less expensive and a safer way to MRI horses feet. The real answers to what we use to call navicular disease can be answered with MRI’s.

Another Celebrity Sighting at the Spa
NRCHA Professional Mark Sigler took a shot to the ankle yesterday.
While Mike Herman ran to take care of some personal business Frank Prisco seized the moment to get a spa treatment in on Mark's ankle.
We've learned -- not only is it important to keep the horses healthy but the horse trainers as well.
Keratomas are rare benign tumors of the horse's hoof.
This is a video of a horse with a Keratoma in the LH lateral quarter of its foot. This horse was successfully managed with corrective shoeing at a recent Futurity and is now scheduled for surgical removal & repair.
We Love A Good Farrier
This 3 year old headed to one of the major futurities has a tremendous bruise along it's sulcus, bars & white line as you can see in this picture. With careful trimming and debriding this horse went from Grade 3/5 yesterday to riding sound this afternoon.
Nothing like a good Farrier to make a vet look good.
