Kobe (8/1/24) was running the streets of the West End of Washington….he was rescued by good Samaritans who walked the neighborhood trying to find his owner. They found the owners who allowed Kobe to run freely because they did not want him. This is how Kobe came to Pet Search.
This sweet boy is dog, cat and kid friendly! Since coming to Pet Search, he has been vet checked, fully vaccinated, neutered, 4 DX tested and microchipped. He is extremely well behaved in his foster home; loves to go for rides and walks and plays very well with other dogs.
Kobe will be a larger dog when full grown (around 60 pounds)

Those ears belong to Peanut a 1.5 year old coconut retriever (mix breed pup)who weighs around 45 pounds.,Peanut is a love bug who follows her foster mom everywhere. She loves playing ruff and tumble with the other pups in the foster home. She is in a foster home with dogs, cats and kids and is excellent with all! Peanut is eager to learn and is food motivated. Included in her adoption fee are her vaccinations, microchip, flea/heart-worm treatment and her spay. Interested in this sweet girl? This sweet girl is Kanga❤️ Kanga is a 6 month old lab mix who is a little shy but with patience warms up and
loves to play. Kanga and her brother Roo live up to their names with their abilities to jump. Due to her shyness a home with another dog is suggested but not a deal breaker. Kanga is vaccinated, microchipped and will be spayed this week.

Astro, was very feral but now an extremely affectionate little boy. He is one of over a dozen cats and kittens being TNR’ed at a colony in Washington. Astro (7/1/24) is a very handsome black and white male kitten who is felv/fuv negative, neutered and vaccinated. He would lice to be your favorite lap kitty.

Axel and his 3 brothers came from a less than perfect situation before arriving at Pet Search…now they can have the life and that they were unable to have as a young puppy. Axel is a terrier mix (12/4/23) that is sweet, playful and energetic. He is neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. He is living in a foster home with both dogs and cats and enjoys running in the yard and chasing his fur-fruends. Once he gets to know you, he will become your new best friend. Forrest is a curious guy who loves exploring. He is playful and love attention. Forrest was born 04/18/24, is neutered, utd on vaccinations, microchipped and FELV/FIV negative.
His mom is Betty, a community cat that is very friendly. He was born in a foster home.

Thank you to everyone that supported our “almost famous” Paws-ta Paw-Ty Spaghetti Dinner- those that donated Chinese Auction baskets, incredible desserts, plates, go home containers, Parmesan cheese and lots of other items that were much needed for the day to be so successful, joined us for an incredible spaghetti dinner… We thank you and are extremely grateful for your support!
We are especially grateful to our wonderful businesses that really supported us-
Michael Passalacqua and Angelo’s Restsurant for donating spaghetti, sauce and meatballs; Mamma Cheez for 2 cases of lettuce, Texas Roadhouse for dinner rolls, Olive Garden for breadsticks, Bobbi Miller of the Cutting Board Deli for tomatoes and cucumbers and the American legion Post 175 for always being so accommodating!
We could not have had such a successful event without their support!
We served over 275 dinners in 5 hours!
Thank you to everyone, including our wonderful volunteers that worked so hard to make this event a huge success!

“Hi. I have fostered and volunteered with Pet Search for over 26 years. My daughter now helps us with various events and with our fosters. The reason I chose Pet Search is that I adopted from Sherry in 1995 and have known Kent and Sherry before that. I am grateful to be able to help the animals that we have. Lexie and I have 5 cats and 1 dog. We foster cats, kittens, dogs and puppies. We have foster failed more than 7 times.”

Foster fail is ok because Val and Lexi continue to foster both cats and dogs for Pet Search!

The phone calls, emails, messages just keep on coming asking for help… We are unable to continue to help animals in need without your support! Please consider donating to these little ones that did not ask to be neglected.
We can not continue to help our community without your help!

Pet Search has finished up with another colony… 42 cats and kittens removed from a home and property in East Washington. 26 outside cats and 16 inside cats were being hoarded and improperly cared for.
The owner just recently passed and our volunteers were able to remove the remainder of the cats from the home. 38 of those cats and kittens are with Pet Search; 4 were surrendered to the Humane Society by the husband.
Thank you to Theresa, Caren and the neighbors who worked together to trap so many of the cats in the property. Some kittens on the property, unfortunately were killed because of dogs, traffic, etc.
These are a few of the 40 faces Pet Search was able to save beginning in the spring of this year and finishing up November 6th.
We continue to do this because “their lives matter”.

This Veteran’s Day our nation will pause for a moment to pay tribute to our brave men and women in uniform. We will honor our fallen soldiers, our veterans, and those who are currently serving. Hopefully, we will not forget to acknowledge the many brave military animals that fought and continue to fight by their side.
For hundreds of years, our military has had the benefit of devoted four-legged partners who have risked their own lives to protect and defend their fellow soldiers.
