We really didn’t know how we was gonna make Christmas happen this year. We kept our heads up and worked hard, while trusting our God. The amount of tips we have received brings tears to our eyes. Our kids had an amazing Christmas morning because of all you. Thank you so much for your generosity.🫶🏻

GIVING TUESDAY💕
I’m in school to be an addictions counselor and at one point I was homeless. I was lucky enough to bounce from motel to motel. The thing is, many of our unhoused community aren’t addicts. They’re most certainly not bad people. They’re regular people that has some very bad circumstances. Many needed mental health services that aren’t available. Many disabled unable to afford rent in todays economy. Go outside and imagine sleeping in this cold. I challenge you to donate $1. If everyone did that, that follows this page we could make a difference in our community. I know it’s an eye sore for you, imagine how it feels to live that way.

This week we will be spending approximately $1,000 on propane heaters (with safety features), propane, fire extinguishers and tent winterization for our friends that are still sleeping outside. This is just the initial cost to provide heat - the cost for propane is ongoing throughout the winter months. If you’d like to support our efforts, please know that we are a 501c3 charitable organization and your company may have a matching grant program, which would allow your gift to go even further. This week is also Giving Tuesday - we would be so appreciative if you would consider our organization in your giving this year. Donation information is available on our website at www.lulapeoria.com. Many of our clients know I’m a student at ICC, what you might not know is I’m going to be a drug and alcohol addictions counselor.

August is overdose awareness month, I try to keep this page professional as possible. But this is truly a passion of mine.
