Murphy enjoys puzzle games (he had quickly solved the one in this video!) and exploring on walks.

Katie is such a very nice, sweet, young dog who deserves an incredibly loving family with the time for an older puppy. Katie is six months old and very smart, as you can see in this video! She’s easily trainable with positive reinforcement! ❤️
Katie enjoys other dog-friendly canines. She loved playing with her brother, who was adopted last weekend. Katie simply needs to find the right fit!

I adore Seely and we all love spending time with her as much as she loves being with us! She’s around 2 years old and about 45 lbs or so. She’s a strong, yet loving, girl. Her coloring is extraordinary and her eyes are strikingly beautiful!

Happy National Rescue Dog Day! We have a little boy who is looking for a very special person. Maybe you could be Brock’s hero. ❤️🐾
Our little Brock has made baby steps with us at Angel Ridge over the months he’s been here. In this video, he decided to take his piggy along with him for the walk. I imagine Brock didn’t have toys during the six years he was chained outside to a tree.
As I’ve mentioned, Brock has handling issues. You need to let him choose handling and not force it on him. You should do multiple visits at Angel Ridge before bringing him home. Let him get to know your scent and voice. Brock is blind, but that is not a huge deal. Blind dogs adjust well, and blindness does not slow down Brock. He absolutely loves taking walks!
Brock’s major obstacle is that he came to us unsocialized with people. For a dog, that’s huge. He doesn’t trust touch. He doesn’t want to be picked up. He does allow some people he knows to pet him. Let him get to know you first. He has snapped when he doesn’t want to be pet or when he wants you to stop petting him. With a few volunteers, he’s learning to enjoy touch. He even enjoys his baths. ❤️
Remember - Brock will need to spend time with you and learn to trust you when it comes to handling. He needs to be in an adult home, and he’d likely do best as an only dog. He does not seem to care for (or trust) dogs.

Two cat 'brothers' in a friendly wrestling match ....
STANLEY and PARIS are lovable, people pleasing cats. PARIS is a beautiful ginger and white boy. He loves to be petted and sit at the window watching the world go by. PARIS is the smaller of the two. He is around four years old.
STANLEY is a big boy, around five years old. He is 15 pounds and has room to grow! He looks a bit like “Grumpy Cat” , but he certainly isn’t! He’s a friendly boy who will roll over for belly rubs and affection.
Since PARIS and STANLEY have lived together, we hope they will be adopted together. They are both laid back and love attention. They would be a perfect addition to a home with older children and/or adults.
They're neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and negative for FIV and FELV. Indoor only and no declawing.

Talia is a gorgeous, 3 year old, long-haired beauty. She's a friendly gal but will prefer a calmer forever home. At times, she becomes overwhelmed at the shelter. She'll be best as the only pet and with older children. She'll make an excellent companion kitty.

Here’s a video of our sweet, lovable little meatball - bulldog mix, Mocha playing with her new JW Pet ball! I gave her a yellow and a red one today, and she was ECSTATIC! She’s 3 years old, 43 lbs, and looking for a loving home. She’s been waiting since October and she’s ready to go home. She’s a friendly dog. Her only issue is that she may not be great sharing her toys. We always trade with her with no issue, but other dogs and small children would not understand that. CHAZ is a strapping young gentleman looking for his true love. He is estimated to be around 3 years old, has impeccable litter box skills, and will chirp at you when he wants your attention. Although Chaz can initially be shy around new people, he warms up with gentle pets and kitty treats. Chaz has an adorable purr and will actually drool from pure contentment when you pet him. Chaz will sometimes play with a stuffed mouse toy, but he’d rather sit with you for pets.
Chaz is often overlooked because he has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), but before you pass him up, please do your research on FIV. Cats with FIV can live long and happy lives with regular vet care. Chaz is a special boy looking for a special person to give him a chance at a new life filled with love.

While his blindness doesn’t slow him down, he will need a very special owner who’s patient, kind, and willing to work with this unsocialized dog who spent six years of his life tied to a tree. Meet Mocha! This spunky young girl has been with us since October and is so deserving of a loving home.
She seems to be housebroken, walks well on a leash, and has even met some other canine companions! Mocha does love her toys, however, and has shown some guarding tendencies. She will require an experienced adopter who is willing to work with her on this. She promises to pay you back with love and affection!
