Finding my place...

I was unsure as to where to begin so I will just jump right in. After working for over 15 years in the “Pet Industry” I slowly realized that an “industry” is just what it was and how many of the owners behaved in that mindset. The majority of my time was spent working/ managing various boarding kennels after devoting my early years of life to my local Humane Society. Following a series of events (expressing my opinions and concerns) and a Friday meeting that left me without a job and not much money to my name I spent the following weekend in serious contemplation. It was heartbreaking to realize all of the pets I had built a bond with the past few months was stripped away in an instant because of business politics rather than the wellbeing of the pets and the employees. All of the years of beating my head against an invisible wall built of closed off minds unwilling to hear genuine employee concerns... I suddenly looked up and realized that that wall could simply be climbed over and conquered. If I had such a problem with the “man” and saw most companies I had worked for as unfair, unjust and totally not there for the wellbeing of the animals; why am I not making a change? I asked myself. Your pets become “income,” “equity,” and a means to a greedy human’s financial gains; and that is not what I had signed up for. And thus, Handsome Helper Pet Care has been born and the problem has been solved. It is my goal for Handsome Helper Pet Care to be there for the entire life of your pet through the ups and downs, through sickness and in health (never forsaking all others). I intend for this to be an honest, transparent and reliable company. Making a promise to love your pets as I do my own and to be a business of change, genuine love and, someone that will never fall into the trap of temptation of financial gain.
