Washington Veterinary Hospital will be closed Monday, April 8th due to the predicted heavier traffic and crowds around our building for the eclipse. Please make arrangements to pick up food and medications before/after that date. We will be open regular hours both tomorrow (Friday, April 5th) 8-5:30 and Saturday, April 6th from 8-12. We will re-open Tuesday, April 9th at 8AM! ☀️🌘🌑🌒

We have more lick mats in if anyone wants one! They are free 🙂 You can smear peanut butter, cheese, or anything else in them for mental stimulation for your pet or for keeping them distracted during a task they don’t like such as a bath or nail trim 💙

Happy happy birthday to our doctor today ! We decorated the office in his honor today 😂 Dr. Hill is the most knowledgeable & compassionate Veterinarian we have come across — who also works his tail off every day to make sure our pets are healthy. Last year on his birthday, he saved one of our staff’s pet’s life. If anyone knew how much work he did during the day & how many patients he actually sees and cares for, they would be amazed. We are incredibly grateful for him re-locating back to Washington 2.5 years ago ! If you see him in the office today or out and about later, please wish him a happy one. Cheers to you, Dr. Hill ! 🎉🎈🎂
