RESCUED!! Tolsen is still in search of a loving home. He came into the shelter so so scared and seemed somewhat feral. A volunteer spent a total of 15 minutes with him where he went from defecating on himself to nuzzling his little nose under her arm begging for more attention to curling up in a little ball beside for some much needed rest ❤️ It is always a rewarding feeling to see such a scared pup shake off its nervousness and Tolsen did it in the absolute cutest way, with little hops! We are sharing this video in hopes that someone will give Tolsen the little bit of time it takes for him to warm up.. He is very fearful of the loud noises that come with the shelter environment and he would be FOREVER thankful 😊 Tolsen’s adoption fee is $85 including his neuter, microchip, and first set of vaccinations. The shelter reopens Monday at 1pm!!

Zorro is ADOPTED! Look at sweet Koa (orange and white) and Zorro (buff)! They are not siblings, but they sure do love eachother! Both are available for adoption!

ADOPTED! Chewy, our male hound, is OVER SHELTER LIFE! All he wishes for is a yard of grass to run in and sniff and even better a human to check in with and get an occasional rub. Chewy is a larger hound around 60+ pounds and still needs to gain weight. He is an active boy, but also mellow at the same time. He has the absolute saddest howl that will make it that much more enjoyable to see him be freed of a concrete run.. Chewy is dog friendly, but can get a little excited when meeting new doggy friends, so with that being said he will need a little time after his neuter to let the hormones run their final course. That’s okay though because this guy is so loving and will make sure to show his thankfulness for anything you give him. Chewy’s adoption fee is $85 including his neuter, microchip and first set of vaccinations!!

Update: Sweet Grace has been adopted!!! Grace is our longest resident and unfortunately hasn’t found a special home yet.. She is in desperate need of a home where she will be the only animal. Grace is a mix breed around 5 years old. She is relatively calm and spends most of her day laying and relaxing. We are unsure what triggered her dog aggression, but have a good feeling it could be from being bred unwillingly many times. However, Grace loves anyone and everyone, even kids. She is not mouthy and typically does not jump unless purposely played with or hyped up. All she asks for is lots of butt scratches!! Adoption Fee is $85 including her spay, microchip, and first set of vaccinations!!

All Chip wants is a home with a playmate!! He is the goofiest boy around 1 year old. He is dog friendly, but would do best with another playful dog. If you are unsure, we always recommend a meet and greet before adopting! Please understand that when adopting you are not going to get the perfect fully trained dog. 9 times out of 10 the dogs in our facility have went through some sort of trauma or have had no socialization (not speaking specifically for Chip). Any dog that comes from here will need time and patience, but it is so worth it in the end. Chip is an energetic boy who is willing to learn. He would benefit most from a family that will let him adventure as well as teach him typical manners, but don’t let that scare you from commitment to him. He loves everyone and will never fail to make you laugh with his clumsy ways. If you would like to meet him or any other adoptables, we are open Monday-Friday 1pm-5pm!

Hope is ADOPTED!! Another new friend for Hope, as our post mentioned yesterday, her friends tend to come and go while she waits for a forever home. Both Hope and Sage are dog friendly and available.
