Hey there - it's Stephanie.
I'm making this post for two reasons - to let you know that today is the last day to grab your raffle tickets and to request assistance in determining how best to let you, our followers, know about what is going on at Paws and Love.
Our social media engagement is very low compared to overall followers - our best posts only receive interactions from approximately 1% of followers and most of them are the same people. For perspective, that is 34 people out of 3,400 who follow us. Our emails fair a bit better - with approximately 25% of our mailing list opening them. Still - that's too many of you missing out on our updates!
Over the years the algorithms have changed and organizations like ours have been struggling to keep you informed - our posts just aren't being seen in your newsfeeds. We've talked about this during our meetings and we would like to know your thoughts on how to improve the likelihood of our posts being seen by you, our followers. With our small team, it is hard to not overextend ourselves, but if anyone has suggestions on how we might be able to accomplish this, we would love to hear them. Using different platforms, focusing on more regular email newsletters, changing how we post, etc. All input is welcome. ❤️
And don't forget to grab your raffle tickets today! The drawing is tomorrow, December 1, with three prizes up for grabs. As a nonprofit, we depend on donations and fundraisers to keep going so every dollar raised allows us to continue our important work. Thank you to everyone who supports us here. This year has marked 10 years and it's been quite a ride with over 2,400 cats spayed/neutered. We look forward to continuing to work together to make our world a better place by helping cats in need. And please don't forget to let us know how we can continue to keep you informed on what we're up to. 🐾
