Just a reminder that signups for Saturday's (9-14-24) WNCHA Fresh Cattle Practice are due in to Patti by 8 PM on Wednesday at 775-691-6487 or [email protected]. Located at Rob Ferber Cutting Horses, 2666 Billy's Road in Minden, we will start at 9 AM. We will order cattle Thursday AM based on the number of signups. $125 and you must be a member of WNCHA due to insurance requirements.

WNCHA is excited to announce a practice session at Rob Ferber's barn in Gardnerville, NV on September 14, 2024
Start Time: 9:00 a.m.
Cost: $125 per work
Details: Each work includes three fresh head of cattle, with 4 minutes per work.
**Important Dates:**
Entries Due: Wednesday, September 11, 2024, by 8:00 p.m.

Late Entries: If you need to sign up after Wednesday, no worries! You can still practice, but you'll be placed at the end with rerun cattle.

There have been some major changes to the Redwood Circuit Championship Show for 2024. Due to event and facility conflicts, the show will be October 5-6 at the McCourtney Ranch in Lincoln, CA. Thank you Gold Country Cutting Horse Association for allowing Nevada Reined Cow and Cutting Horse Association to partner with them to co-produce this show! Watch for upcoming details.

Cattle are being settled in both pens - Pen 1 for the first set of the Open Derby, and in Pen 2 for the first set of the $50,000 Amateur.

At Road to Reno, Kathy is currently working the Open in Pen 1, which will be followed by the Non Pro In Pen 2, the cattle are being settled for the 5/6 Non Pro, 14 Entries, paying 4 monies. The show is being live streamed by Carol and Don Wood, Cowgirl Video. Laurie Errington is here Scootem-N-Shootem Photography working her magic with the camera. Be sure to check out her photos on line.

Here at the PCCHA Road to Reno Show, pen 1 has kicked off with the Open 5/6, followed by NCHA Open. Les Bates is judging Pen 1, and at 9 in Pen 2, cattle in at 9 for the Non Pro 5/6 with Mark Lavender as the judge.

In Pen 1, they are starting the $5,000 Novice Non Pro. In Pen 2 we are working the Jr. Youth class.
