Hoarfrost Aerie is owned by a retired, combat wounded US Army Infantryman. Raises Karakachan

Hoarfrost Aerie is a small farm owned and operated by a Combat wounded US Army veteran and his family. We specialize in AKDA registered Karakachan livestock guardian dogs, and AKC registered Great Danes. Our Karakachans started their jobs in AK in Fairbanks, working with Cows, pigs, goats, sheep, chickens, turkeys, and ducks. We have recently relocated to Wasilla where they work with sheep, chickens, turkeys, ducks, and geese.

It’s hard to believe that my little buddy is a full grown, and an experienced LGD. It seems like just yesterday she was learning from Kisima, and Einarr that Foxes were bad, and she got her first fox chew toy.
Now Ygritte is huge, and a force to be reckoned with.
