Our goal for our program is to preserve the Siberian husky breed with beautiful working dogs.

Our GWP, Turtle 🐢, had her first show weekend!
This baby girl is 11.5 months old 🥹
She was competing against a beautiful line up of other GWPs but we might be biased since they were her relatives. She did so well the first day I was thoroughly impressed!
Big shout out to her Co-Breeder Hilde for supporting us and helping significantly with her grooming.
Of course a big big thank you to both Tympani Wires and Greensleeves GWP for breeding such a lovely girl and allowing us the pleasure of having her in our lives.

It was an honor to have you for the last few years of your retirement. We may not have had the pleasure of knowing you in your younger years but you still had a spark in your golden years and you left your paw prints in our hearts. You did some awesome things in your life and you earned your silver harness.

I wish we had a few more years to enjoy together, but we didn't get that luxury. It was sudden and we had a rushed goodbye.. I so wished I could have given you a tasty cheeseburger before you left. I hope that you run free and aren't in pain anymore.

Nimbus got groomed today and then we spent some time modeling at 49th State Kennels Pet Shop and checking out all their new !

Hyperion
"Kaniska's God of Heavenly Light at CloudNine"
At the AKKC shows this last weekend, while we have a lot of training and work to do he was a good boy and had fun! He took home 3rd place ribbons both days out of a nice line up of dogs. We look forward to doing better in the Siberian Husky Specialty shows in May!

Let's get real for a second.

The world often paints a picture that dogs who live together are best friends and do everything together.

This is just not true. Many many many multidog household utilize management in different situations to allow dogs personal space to enjoy things such as:

- feeding time
- chew time
- play time
- attention time

This. Is. Normal.

Just because someone utilizes management, doesn't mean their dogs don't enjoy each other's company or have fun together. It just means that there are certain activities that they prefer to do on their own.

And I will tell you firsthand that implementing safe space zones and time apart can be so beneficial to the relationship between two dogs.

Think about it-- do you enjoy doing every single activity that you do at home with your spouse, family, or sibling RIGHT there? I don't think so.

So let's normalize management between dogs who live together!!

Nimbus and I got our holiday pictures taken.

While Nimbus wasn't too keen on Santa we still had a nice picture of the two of us ☺️ more to come.

I rarely get to have pictures of myself with the dogs so it's always nice to have these special memories.

Cloud 9 Acres Husky & Kitty Rescue really needs our help for Buddy who was neglected, abused and used for target practice. He needs X-rays to check for how many bbs/pellets he has and if any need immediate removal, broken leg, eye exams for infection and much more

The big noodle boi waking up from sedation for his OFA health testing. 🥰

Haku is one of our LGDs (Livestock Guardian Dog) he is a G2 (second generation) CMD (Colorado Mountain Dog). He will be contributing to further the CMD program this winter!
The vet was very impressed with his x-rays so we hope that OFA thinks the same and look forward to his results.
