David was born in Philadelphia, and began his career in veterinary medicine while residing in Arizona. He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team, with his 25 years of experience in the field and has honed his skills in patient care, advanced diagnostics, and treatment coordination. David also has three years of experience in oncology and internal medicine. He is passionate about ensuring the highest level of care for every patient and supporting his colleagues in providing exceptional veterinary services. He is known for his dedication, efficiency, and compassion.
David has two pets of his own, a rescue Korean Jindo dog named Pete and a cat named Charlotte Sometimes. In his free time he enjoys live music, hiking and camping.

Dr. Wilson is originally from Kenny Lake, Alaska, and graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. Prior to returning home to Alaska, Dr. Wilson worked in a rural mixed animal practice in Wyoming and a small animal practice in California. She has special interests in wounds, surgery, and all things feline! In her free time she enjoys hiking, fishing, and horse back riding.

Camey was born and raised in Montana, but has recently relocated to Alaska. She has always been passionate about animals and has had the opportunity to treat animals of all kinds, from domestic to wild and exotic, over the course of 15 years in veterinary medicine. She's an avid outdoors man who enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking and camping. When she's not outside exploring she enjoys drawing, crafting and spending time with her five animals. Featured in her photo is one of her four legged family members, Edgar.

🐾It’s an unfortunate fact that nearly 80% of dogs and 70% of cats have periodontal disease by the age of 3. Many pets don’t display signs of problems even though they are in pain, so getting your pet used to having their teeth brushed is good for their health and wellness.😁

While it’s best to teach your pet to accept toothbrushing while they are still young, adult dogs and cats can be trained. It may take a little longer, but it’s worth the effort. Associating rewards with the sessions, before, during and after, can help keep dental care a positive event.🐾

Feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) is an important disease of domestic cats. It occurs worldwide in cats of all ages, but the disease is most common in young cats less than two years of age.
FIP appears to be more common in cats that live in multi-cat households, shelters, or catteries. Cats that are stressed due to re-homing, have recently had surgery, or have concurrent infections (more than one infection at a time) may also be more susceptible to developing FIP. Genetic factors are also thought to contribute to the development of FIP. Male cats are affected more often than females. Purebred cats, including Abyssinian, Bengal, Birman, Himalayan, Ragdoll, and Devon Rex may be predisposed to developing FIP.
