Just saw some news feed on a page that was complaining of rabbit people charging high prices. They felt it was ridiculous. "No rabbit is worth that or that people are greedy" want to know why we as breeders charge the prices we do? Well.... You are paying for an animal that the owner/breeder has spent 100's if not 1000's of hours and $$$ working on the lines, not to mention the breeders and years behind THAT pedigree. You are paying for the 1000's of miles and $$$ to go to shows to show our animals. You are paying for all the blood, sweat and tears that comes with the pride we take in our barns. You are paying for the years of experience behind that animal and pedigree.

Rabbits are not an easy animal to raise. They come with many difficulties and disappointments. They aren’t cheap and there is constant work to be done with them. There is LITTLE TO NO profit whatsoever. The money made from sales goes right back into them. There’s a saying, if you want to be be a millionaire raising rabbits, start off as a billionaire... 👋🏻💸

Respect serious breeder’s prices. Prices are based on the rabbit’s quality. If it’s too much for you, turn it down and look for a pet breeder! You can’t ask for pet prices on true quality animals.
