KEAGAN UPDATE!!!!
It’s been a while since we have seen our wonderful feathered friend. Keagan has been sitting on eggs for the last few weeks. She went missing one day, we had people driving up and down the road, had people circling the yard, even had people walking the woods around the house yelling “KEAGAN” shaking bread bags but nothing.. then gug pulls into the garadge and look there’s Keagan! She had been hiding in there and she refused to come out. A few days go by of her hiding in there not coming out so we put a box with a cutout door out there and some shavings and hay hoping she goes in for warmth and shelter. She did! She then layed a few more eggs and continued to sit on them for a few weeks till just a few days ago... Nothing happened with the eggs but this was her first batch and she did awesome! Way to go keagan!! She is back to her curiosity self sitting with me on the chair enjoying the sunlight!!

So keagan gave us a huge scare today.. when getting home from Christmas with families we find out that Keagan is no where to be found!.. not in the coop.. not around the yard.. not on any of the porches.. so we go walking threw the woods yelling and surching. We have someone on the road driving up and down trying to see if she went to say hi to a visitor for Christmas and we couldn’t find her there either.. so we go inside to warm up and wait for the grandparents to come home.. well when they pull into the yard and start to walk into the house guess who they find chilling in the garage...KEAGAN!!!! And she even laid her first egg!!!! Gosh she is a hand full but in the end she is so cute and look at that egg!!! Go keagan!!!
