With rifle season approaching here are a few tips .
First, remember some dragging can damage your hide . So think accordingly .

Secondly, when skinning for a mount be sure to leave a lot of hide on for your mount . It can be cut off if there’s extra but I can’t add on if you shorten it .

Lastly, process hide quickly if warm . The longer it’s out the more bacteria grows which causes hair slippage in the end .

So keep it cold and even frozen until you can get
It to your taxidermist .
