Canine influenza, or “dog flu,” is a highly contagious respiratory illness that can be passed from dog to dog. It typically starts with a cough and can be mistaken for the more common and well-known Bordetella. In some cases, canine influenza can progress to pneumonia.

May is Military Appreciation Month! We would like to thank Ciara, a Military Police Officer in the Army, who you may recognize from our front desk. We’d also like to thank Cassie, a veteran of the Marine Corps serving as a Sergeant, who is one of our full time technicians! She served in the Middle East in 2015. Thank you both for your service and for protecting our country.
