A huge shoutout to all the amazing volunteers who came together for the Sturgis Falls parade today!💙 It was absolutely incredible to witness such overwhelming support. Plus eight adorable shelter pups got to join in the walk (and they did amazing)! Thank you for helping make this one of the most memorable parades yet!🐾🌟

BARN CATS NEEDING HOMES: Not every cat is suited to be an indoor pet, but many can thrive as barn cats, shop cats, or in other mouser roles! Our barn cat program is designed for those felines who have spent their lives outdoors and would not find happiness living inside. These cats are low-maintenance and serve as excellent natural deterrents against mice, moles, and barn vermin.

Currently, we have eight barn cats looking for homes. All barn cats have already been spayed or neutered. Without barn adopters, they have nowhere else to go. Please consider adopting a barn cat this summer!

Olivia loves to spend time with her favorite people and go for walks. She’s also familiar with the hand signal for the command "sit." While she would prefer to be the only pet in the household, she is certain to bring plenty of love and fun wherever she goes. Come meet her!🌼

Cedar Bend Humane Society has been helping the pets and pet families of Black Hawk County, Iowa since 1910. We are a non-profit organization that exists because of the support and friendship of people who donate money, time, and other gifts.

Every dollar and donation received benefits the animals by helping with medical needs, spay and neuter costs, and providing care and shelter for the homeless, neglected, and unwanted animals of the Cedar Valley.
