NEW services for the holistic / natural-minded pet parent are here! Dr. Barb Fox is now offering natural pain management sessions that are completely non-invasive, effective, and safe for both dogs and cats.

Sessions using therapeutic-grade essential oils, sound therapy with medicinal tuning forks, and crystal therapy mats can aid in relieving discomfort in many areas of your dog or cat's body. Animals seem to love the gentle energy patterns created by these different "tools", many times curling up to relax or take a brief nap as they receive their individualized treatments.

Hi everyone! I just want to take a minute to introduce myself to those I haven't met yet!

I'm Dr. Barb Fox, a graduate of Iowa State University's College of Veterinary Medicine (one year behind Dr. Kneeland!) and have been practicing in northeast Iowa for the past 27 years. I started filling in for Dr. Kneeland last fall and will now be seeing patients at the clinic on Mondays and Wednesdays.

AND, the most exciting part of this is that I'll be offering integrative treatment options for your animals! A growing number of you pet parents are seeking natural options to your pet's care, and the combination of holistic (natural) and traditional medicine is a perfect fit for them.

I'm a member of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinarian Medical Association, and a board member of the Veterinary Medical Aromatherapy Association. Education never ends, and not only do I teach at conferences across the country, I write for several holistic veterinary publications as well as attending as many of the continuing education classes that I can.
