Hi GC family! Sorry for the lack of posting lately, I’ve taken some time off!
I hope yall had a wonderful thanksgiving and enjoying this snow-weekend (we sure are)! Back to scheduled private lessons and classes this coming week!

Check out some pictures from our last class of both the intermediate and basic group classes!!!!

In intermediate class we learned more handling techniques, longer duration and distance down and sit stays, stays around more distractions, place, and coming into the front and heel position! They all rocked it, so proud of them!

In our basic class we learned how to walk nicely on a leash, sit and down stays to the end of the leash, leave-it, door manners, and how to work around distractions! We also got to play with some agility equipment to end off our class and I will say everyone loved it!!

There is still a couple days to sign up for our next round of classes, we have one more spot open in our basic class, get in on it before we get started!! Reach out today if your interested!

Congratulations to everyone in this round of group classes!!! Every single one of these teams did amazing and improved so much! Everyone grew and took on everything that was on the curriculum with determination! I’m so proud of these owners and dogs!

And a special congratulations to the intermediate class for passing their CGC test!!!!

I can’t wait to see everyone next round and to keep watching them excel!

Sometimes privates aren’t just about obedience, sometimes it’s about the specific need you have in your home to make life a little easier!

Piper’s parents own a boarding facility in their backyard. Piper has a hard time ignoring the dogs in the backyard and would rather lunge and bark. We have spent a couple sessions working on door manners to the backyard, walking around the fenced in area, ignoring the dogs, offering obedience when asked, and overall staying neutral!
She is doing and progressing so well, so proud of the work her and her mom are putting in!

This is why I love privates, we can work on what you specifically need to make your life with your dog the way you want! Do you have a specific need outside basic obedience? Private lessons are where to go and I can tailor every lesson to your goals and needs!

A few snapshots from last weeks Basic Obedience class! They are all doing just fantastic with just 4 weeks! So proud of each and every one of them, so much growth in such a short time! I just love all the focus we are getting from these pups😊

Registration is open for the next session of group classes!!!

Class will start November 24th and run for 6 classes (with a few breaks in the middle). I figured it was better to fit in another round of classes than wait for the new year! We will not have classes December 1st, 22nd and 29th!

We will be doing 3 obedience classes and 1 fun scentwork class! Unfortunately the scentwork class is full as of right now, but if you are interested in scentwork, let me know and we might be able to do another class!

Check out this awesome dog in our private lesson last week! This was the first time buddy has been out in public and he did fantastic with the work his mom has been putting in at home! He was still a little nervous and needs to work on a bit more focus but overall he did awesome! So proud of this team!

Hung out with my favorite standard poodle today!
Took him from mom while she works, to give him an outing and see how he is progressing! I can say, he is ready for his SD test!!!
I’m so proud of him and mom for all their hard work! He is going to be working as an allergen detection dog to help out his mom to see if peanuts are in the food she’s about to eat!

I can’t say enough of great things about this basic class!!
Week 2 and look at all the things they have learned and worked on! In just one week, everyone has showed up and worked on their skills and it shows!!
We have already worked on some sit and down stays, recall, leave-it, some handling techniques, and walking nicely on a leash!

I love when I see owners work with their dog outside of class! These dogs have had a month since their last class and have not missed a beat!
I’m so proud of them! This first class was a lot of review but a few new things added in, which they all did amazing at!
The goal of intermediate is to learn higher level handling stuff, really improve their stays, learn place, and work on meet and greets more! Can’t wait to see what they do and watch them improve!

My gosh these 4 dogs and owners rocked it on day 1 of basic!!! This is going to be a fun group and I cannot wait to see how they progress!
I am so glad to be back with classes! Privates are starting back up soon, so snag a spot if you’re interested!

Hi, I am posting for a client of mine. Unfortunately they have to rehome their sweet border collie pup due to some health issues and no fault of the own from the pup. Taz is estimated to be able 5-6 months old. He was adopted from an Amish community where he didn’t have a good start to life. That has left him with a few behavioral problems. However, nothing a bit of training can’t fix/help!
I am sponsoring this pup, whoever adopts this pup will get 25% of training for his lifetime to set him up for success with his new owners and get a better chance it’s his forever home. He has some issues with jumping, he is not crate trained (owner did not like crates), he doesn’t know how to walk on a leash well; and he is very hyper (typical border collie in that way). He is super sweet and will make a great pet for anyone that has some time and willingness to put in a little work and love!

He is up-to-date on shots and has an appt with the SPCA on Thursday for neutering and the rest of his shots!

Please help me find him a home, again I’ll sponsor 25% of all training for his lifetime to a good home! There is no rehoming fee but I will try to find a good fit. Please message me or my page for more information or if you are interested!

🎉Exciting news!!!🎉
Classes are back this Sunday, Oct 13th! I have one spot left in the basic and intermediate class! If you have been teetering on whether to do the class, this is your time to jump on in!
I am not starting privates until a week-ish later just to ease in.
Excited to be back and hopefully be back for good with no more breaks for health issues!

Just wanted to update yall! Sorry I have been MIA on social media and longer to respond to messages.
The last 2ish weeks I have been battling some tough health issues. I thought I was on the mend a few months ago, but my medication regime needed to be changed. I am on a new plan which is already so much better! I just need a few more days to recover so I can safely drive again. I have a follow-up doctors appt middle of next week which will hopefully decide when I can return to classees and privates (I am hopeful for the week after)!
So look forward to that update!

Thank you all for being so understanding! I hate how I have to pause anytime there is a health issue, but I am a one man shop so I can’t do it all, even though I wish I could!

A little late but on Sunday our group classes graduated and I am so proud of these teams!!! Everyone has done an amazing job and grown so much in 6 weeks!
All 4 teams in the therapy dog class passed their test and onto the next step of certification!!
All 4 puppies and dogs from our Puppy/Basic class graduated and did fantastic! They have learned so much and improved leaps and bounds!

So proud of you guys!! Our next round of classes start in just a week and a half, reach out today if you want more information!
