Piper
Piper has been working hard these last few weeks!! She had reactivity and anxiety around other dogs and in her last two sessions we have worked very hard on her existence around other dogs. She is doing phenomenal and making great strides.
She still has a bit to go to completely get rid of the reactivity but we are getting there! I’m so proud of the work her and her mom are doing!
Keep it up! 🐾
Advanced class
Check out the Advanced class absolutely killing it at Home Depot last week! We practiced a lot of skills and learned a few new ones like hind-end awareness, backing up, and new SD tasks! So proud of them and all their hard work!
Piper
Sometimes privates aren’t just about obedience, sometimes it’s about the specific need you have in your home to make life a little easier!
Piper’s parents own a boarding facility in their backyard. Piper has a hard time ignoring the dogs in the backyard and would rather lunge and bark. We have spent a couple sessions working on door manners to the backyard, walking around the fenced in area, ignoring the dogs, offering obedience when asked, and overall staying neutral!
She is doing and progressing so well, so proud of the work her and her mom are putting in!
This is why I love privates, we can work on what you specifically need to make your life with your dog the way you want! Do you have a specific need outside basic obedience? Private lessons are where to go and I can tailor every lesson to your goals and needs!
Buddy
Check out this awesome dog in our private lesson last week! This was the first time buddy has been out in public and he did fantastic with the work his mom has been putting in at home! He was still a little nervous and needs to work on a bit more focus but overall he did awesome! So proud of this team!

Dubs
Hung out with my favorite standard poodle today!
Took him from mom while she works, to give him an outing and see how he is progressing! I can say, he is ready for his SD test!!!
I’m so proud of him and mom for all their hard work! He is going to be working as an allergen detection dog to help out his mom to see if peanuts are in the food she’s about to eat!

Basic class
I can’t say enough of great things about this basic class!!
Week 2 and look at all the things they have learned and worked on! In just one week, everyone has showed up and worked on their skills and it shows!!
We have already worked on some sit and down stays, recall, leave-it, some handling techniques, and walking nicely on a leash!
Interested in learning more about our group classes? Our next one will be here before you know it! Reach out today!!
Intermediate class
I love when I see owners work with their dog outside of class! These dogs have had a month since their last class and have not missed a beat!
I’m so proud of them! This first class was a lot of review but a few new things added in, which they all did amazing at!
The goal of intermediate is to learn higher level handling stuff, really improve their stays, learn place, and work on meet and greets more! Can’t wait to see what they do and watch them improve!
Sawyer
This dog was an avid puller and in just 2 lessons look at that nice heel with some engagement and eye contact! Sawyer is such a sweet pup but loves all the smells and distractions of outside, our goal has been changing her focus from the environment to her mom! We have also been working on sit and down stays and recall!
Mom wants her to be off leash one day, and I think we can make it happen!!
Are you looking for private lessons? Interested in getting started with basic obedience skills or have some behavior you would like to work through? Reach out today! I have some open spots this week or in 2 weeks!!
Children’s Night for Therapy Dog Class
Finally getting to post this video from almost 2 weeks ago! But check out these awesome dogs working on everything they have learned around some big distractions! Last class was Children’s Night where we had a few children come and provide a real life experience for the dogs to practice! They worked on their obedience skills while the children played, then they laid with the children while they read books, and then they practiced petting and comforting the children at the end!
I’m so proud of them, everyone did such an amazing job! Thank you to everyone that came out to help! Now onto the nursing home tomorrow to practice even more before their therapy dog test next week!
If you are interested in getting started with therapy dog training, our next round of group classes starts in just a couple weeks! Reach out today for more information!

These teams are rocking it! Check out their amazing work last Sunday at Runnings during class! We worked a lot on their upcoming test items and did a good amount of meet and greets as well, from strangers and friendly faces!
They are all doing so good, can’t wait to see how next week goes at Thompson Park, a lot more and different distractions they will need to work through! Great job guys!! 🐾

Play
Sometimes we just have to have fun and play in our sessions! Play can be a huge opener to a dog’s mindset, and can really help set the stage when you are working with anxiety or reactivity! Check out these shepherds get some feelings out a the park through play! It’s not always work over here! ❤️🐾🐕
Do you have an overly anxious or reactive dog? We can help! Private lessons are a great way to start because we can work directly on what your dog needs, that might be play or might be another direction. Either way we can figure it out and go from there in our private lessons! Reach out today to get started!
