Building read end awareness! Dogs do not come with rear-end awareness pre-installed, so things like pivoting, moving individual rear legs, and backing up can be challenging to teach. Teaching a dog to pivot on their front end helps with body awareness, as well as physical conditioning.

Proofing is the idea of solidifying a dog's understanding of a behavior so that it is reliable any time, any place.
When it comes to proofing remember the "three D's!"
Distance, Duration, and Distraction. Here we have a video with our trainer, Arik, working on proofing his dog, Taika, on Place by doing all sorts of bizarre and distracting behavior!
