Pooch Palace has permanently closed, and property sold.

The "Pink House" was sold to be utilized by the JEWISH COMMUNITY DAY SCHOOL across the street. We continue to support the Greater Boston Jewish Community.

We will dearly miss your "guys running up the front walk in their enthusiasm to socialize and play with each other.

GG, Clovins and kids will be relocating to their own home outside of Boston.

GG is of course sad thinking she will miss the guys she is so fond of. She is planning on continuing her care by meeting you half way or when available in the Watertown Area for pick up and delivery.

There will be a pick up and drop off charge according to miles traveled.

IT IS SAD TO NOTIFY YOU, POOCH PALACE WILL BE PERMANENTLY CLOSING IT'S "HOME AWAY FROM HOME" ON NOVEMBER 15, 2021.

WE ARE CURRENTLY WORKING WITH A YOUNG PASSIONATE POOCH PERSON THAT MAY LOCATE HER POOCH BUSINESS AT 18 STANLEY AVENUE, WATERTOWN. WHEN AND IF THAT HAPPENDS, I WILL POST HER INFORMATION FOR YOUR "GUYS".

WE HAVE BEEN SO FORTUNATE TO HAVE TAKEN LOVING CARE OF YOUR FOUR LEGGED FAMILY MEMEBERS SINCE 1984 & 1994. AS WELL AS BEING INVOLVED IN YOUR FAMILIES CELEBRATIONS AND FAMILY CONCERNS.

Unwavering passion and commitment from volunteers and donors. That’s what kept Phinney’s open and active during this most unusual fiscal year, from July 1st 2020 to June 30, 2021.

Thanks to your generous gifts and your stamina, we were able to help pet owners in need with $68,341 on veterinary visits for their ill pets, and $24,426 on annual vet checks, tests and medications to keep beloved pets healthy. We also shipped $16,578 worth of pet supplies for dozens of low-income people in need.

And it's worth noting that our Annual Report carries a big THANK YOU to Pooch Palace of Watertown, which produced its last Phinney's fundraising Calendar last year before passing the baton onto GG a new manager.

The doggie daycare raised and donated almost $700,000 to Phinney's since 1996. We are eternally grateful for such a gift of love from Pooch Palace staff and especially Marcia Sassoon, the heart and mind behind this wonderful effort that saved countless pets throughout two decades.
