The Shop Springs community is mourning the shocking and sudden loss of a great husband, father, son, brother and friend, Nick Forbes. Growing up, we spent many nights in the creek, camping and being kids. My camping buddy, frog giggin’ partner and friend, Nick was always the kindest and most gentle person you would meet. Later in life was no different. Nick would give the shirt off his back to help a friend.

It is with great sadness that I write this message, but Elizabeth and I have thought all week of what we could do to help the most. When reading Nick’s obituary, at the end it stated that in lieu of flowers, please contribute to a fund for “The Forbes Children” at Wilson Bank & Trust as Nick left behind 4 precious children. So, that’s what we want to do and we want you to help us.

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 11, 2021 all profits from the creamery will be contributed to the children’s account at Wilson Bank & Trust. I want this to be our biggest day ever for my buddy Nick. There will also be a place at the creamery on Saturday for you to make additional donations as well if you would like.

Please remember Nick’s entire family in your prayers tomorrow as he is laid to rest and in the days to come as they will be difficult.

It's ! This day was created to celebrate the 1878 anniversary of home delivery of milk to homes in sterilized glass bottles. Shop Springs Creamery, owned by Jeffrey and Elizabeth Turner of Lebanon, has recreated that model! Although their creamline milk is in plastic jugs, it is being delivered directly to homes through Market Wagon in the Nashville Metro area! Wishing them much success with this model!

Shop Springs Creamery is located in Lebanon, TN. We milk Jersey cows on our small dairy farm and bottle the milk in our creamery. Our milk is non-homogenized and low-temperature vat pasteurized. We do not remove any cream from the milk so it is an all-nat

Hi, I'm sorry to announce that we won't be back to the Nashville Farmers Market. Thank you to everyone who stopped in to see me and for purchasing my products. Starting July 10th greens will be available for purchase Friday-Sunday at our farm. Sunday delivery will be available but there will be a delivery fee. Please contact me for delivery price.

How do we plant microgreens? With micro tractors of course. Well maybe not but we are still planting crops even though our location at the Nashville Farmers Market will be closed until April 3rd. We are excepting preorders only at this time and they can be picked up every Saturday between 8 and 10 in the market parking lot. Other vendors will be offering the same service so be sure to contact them as well. We planned on opening the farm stand in Watertown later in the spring but we will be open Saturdays there as well if want to venture out to visit us. We will be open there from 10-4.
