Glacial Lakes Humane Society and Shelter is thrilled to announce the purchase of 2.7 acres of land located directly behind Walmart in Watertown, for the development of a new, state of the art, animal shelter!

This is a major step forward in our mission to provide more space and improved services for homeless, abandoned, and unwanted animals. The facility will feature modern kennels, adoption areas, veterinary space, and plenty of room for dogs, cats, and small animals to thrive while waiting for their forever homes.

Building plans will follow as we begin planning and fundraising. Stay tuned for updates on how to get involved!

If you’d like to donate to the building, donations can be made to Glacial Lakes Humane Society’s building fund at the Watertown Community Foundation.

Together we’re building a brighter future for animals in need!!!

Zeus, 2 years old Poodle/Pointer Mix, neutered male. Lived with another dog and did great with the ones we tried him with. Very affectionate boy who loves treats. More info soon.

🎄🎄CHRISTMAS DONATIONS🎄🎄

Good afternoon everyone,

During the Holidays we always have people asking us (thank you!) what supplies we are in need, so we are making a post about our main current needs and ways to donate!

The 6 items on the picture are the things we are currently low and go through a lot of it in general:

- clumping cat litter
- yellow bag of Purina kitten food
- flea prevention for cats
- canned food for kittens
- printing paper
- window cleaner

We can ALWAYS use and GREATLY APPRECIATE monetary donations as well to pay for all the bills we have.
