Announcing the big news, we have a litter of Bernedoodles incubating! They are due to arrive Feb. 8th give our take a few days.
They will be what are called F1b.
1st generation Bernedoodle Zoe (Father 100% Bernese Mountain Dog and Mother 100% Standard Poodle) So Zoe is 50/50
She was bred to Grizzy a 100% Standard Poodle.
SO...puppies will be non-shed. 25/75
Bernese/Poodle.

I had Lucy xrayed today. She is preggers with 6 standard poodles. Due April 27th. I will try to get her on camera this weekend and start checking her temperature!

We received great news...Lucy is pregnant and the veterinarian was unsure whether she's having quadruplets or quintruplets but the time around April 26th will tell.
She has been breed to Uptown James Brown. Brody. Stay tuned.

We have a pick pocket!

This is PEDRO. He thinks I'm his mama. At 3 days old he was cool to touch, weak, lost weight and failing fast. I warmed him, (wrapped in wash cloth and tucked him in my bra!) I made sure he had alone time to nurse from Nettie but he was just too weak. I started feeding him with a dropper but by Sunday he wouldn't even swallow. He's a week old at that time and below his birth weight. I refused to let him die on my watch! I took him to Madison Emergency Vet clinic. Due to Covid-19 precautions I waited in my car 4.5 hrs. Ends up he had a stool impaction. Fast forward a week and he will no longer attempt to nurse so we are bottle feeding but when he's full he loves to lie and suckle my finger.
