I’m sure you have seen the really cute dish towels with all the cute sayings on them. My sister suggested I use one of my paintingd just for that. With that in mind I decided I needed to come up with a painting that really f**t the idea. So here she is “Not Me”.
I believe I have a friend that does a lot of cooking and if I remember right he used to make a comment about cooking with wine something like this. “I cook with win and sometimes I even put it in the food I am cooking. “. Well this crazy bird seems to have the same attitude about cooking with wine. Enjoy and let me know what you think about cooking with wine. Please like

Murphy got his Christmas present Christmas eve at 4 pm and it hasn’t been out of his mouth or out of his sight since. I think he loves it. He even snuck it outside during one of his outings but didn’t put it down!

I was with my painting friends yesterday and I said I needed a little something new to try. This is my first acrylic painting. Please let me know what you think but be gentle it is the holiday season. This an acrylic on canvas trying to be myself in my style but it is a little different working with this media. One thing nice about it is if you don’t like it you just paint over it. Can’t do that very easily with watercolors. Please like, share and please comment.

Humphrey stopped by the farm the other day. He said he was on his way south but was having a little trouble getting his directions right. We set up an appointment right away with our local eye doctor and he got a new prescription. While he was at he decided to check out some new frames. I almost wished I wore glasses. I did many years ago and you could get black, silver or gold frames but now wow the colors are amazing! I figure if you wear glasses show em off! Wear something that makes a statement. Humohry had to agree. Now the cold winds hive been telling him he might be a little late for the trip. Has him a little worried. Do any of you have some travel advice for him? Maybe he should just stay here and find a good warm shelter. Let us know your thoughts. Hope you like Humphrey and will share his story.

We had a couple of visitors the other day but the cold weather made them look really fat and puffy. Hopefully we will see them throughout the following seasons. Calling this chickadee and chickadoo.

Our farm was really busy this spring and summer. We had chicks hatched, calves born, piglets born, and earlier this summer one of the cats had a late batch of kittens. We named all but one and this one we just couldn’t figure out a good suitable name to match his personality. The other day we were just watching the chicks with their moms picking bits and oieces off the ground and of course now we have the fall bugs arriving. We have bees, wasps, butterflies, moths and of course the black flying leeping bugs. Well I was just sitting there watching this nameless kitten and the black bug was right in front of his nose. He did a little twitch of his nose the the black bug jumped so high it frightened the kitten who also jumped just about as high as the bug. Guess what kind of bug it was. Right it was a cricket. At last we have a name for the kitten. Cricket!

I am Pricilla Pedagrass and I live on the farm with my husband. You can tell I am a very exotic cat just by looking at me! We live in the house of course and we have our special cushions and chairs. I only sit on or sleep on satin or silk objects! I never eat dry cat food that is for the birds. I love fresh tuna on my china plate and cream from my crystal bowl. I love to be pampered and I can purr louder than any other cat here. I also wear Gucci glasses but really they are just plain glass. I think it adds to my distinguished look. I can parade around the house at my leisure but rarely make a habit of it. Too much exercise isn’t good for me right? I do enjoy listening to soft music and I do have my favorite TV shows including Kitty Katz , Puss in Boots and especially the Pink Panther . He is so handsome and so smart! Well maybe next time you will meet another of the cats that live here too. Have a great weekend and don’t forget to share my story and hit the like button so I know you want to see more. I would really love it if you would tell me your favorite cat story too.

Let me tell you I had such a fun day! Thanks Patti for finding this new method of painting! I will tell you how it is made . First we mix painta, a dab of water and dish soap. Then you use a straw and blow up a bunch of abubbles and transfer the bubbles to the paper. Hooray you have a marbled look when it dries! Let me know what you think please!

This week I have been working with the Brusho crystal paint granules again. I need some animal suggestions I guess. Anyway these are just some pieces that I call in the process. You can see different stages of what I have to work with and how I try to imagine what I see and how I try to make things appear that you might not have seen otherwise.
The lower right painting is one that I just used spattered paints. I filled my brush and just tapped it over the paper. Then tried to fill in the dots so to speak. Oh what fun I have trying to decide where to go with the colors. The bottom left has me just wondering because that is one that I think I need to add more paint to make something show up. What do you think and what do you see in any of these?

Dan happened to catch a youtube clip about spatter type painting. He thought I should give it a try. I used an old windex bottle filled with water and sprayed the watercolor paper and then splatter watercolors off the brush by tapping it with another brush. After that dried I went back to see if I could see anything in the painting
and this is what came out of the project.

Welcome back to the farm reserve for crazy animals and people. I have a good friend that has some special goats and one of them, Eloiserequested to join my yoga clasee this week. I started the class with my usual instructions and did the demoof the new pose we would be doing. It is called the dead bug and it is a very relaxing pose and I for one just love it. We end up flat on our backs with our knees bent and our hands resting on the outside of our feet. See the attached picture. It lets me stretch and relax my hips and back. So after the explanations are complete we start to move into our poses and the class moves on through one pose after the other. We end standing tall and erect but relaxed and I begin to slowly move us to the floor and the dead bug pose. Outside there is an old truck that pulls up next to the building and all of a sudden it back fires. Oh my goodness what just happened. Eloise drops with a thunk to the floor flat on her back with her feet up and we all think she was shot but then we realize she is a fainting goat and that is what makes her special. She wakes up shortly after hitting the floor and we all surround her for fear she is dead. She looks at us like what is the matter with everybody? We all go back to our mats and finish the class.

Today we had a guest visit the farm/reserve from a place not too far away. Stuart is a golden@ retriever and he wanted to join the yoga class but we had just finished and were getting ready to leave the yoga room. Maybe some of you haven’t ever been to a yoga class so I want to tell you a couple of the rules. You are required to remove your shoes before entering the yoga room. Then when we start the class we all remove our socks. One reason is for safety so your feet don’t slip on the yoga mat. So we all had our mats rolled up and we were just having a casual discussion and we started to put on our socks when we discovered some socks missing. We started looking around and couldn’t find them mixed in with the mats, they weren’t in with the cleaning cloths, and they weren’t by our yoga spots where we had taken them off. We just couldn’t figure out where they could have gone. Then Stuart was found behind the door curtain and guess what he had in his mouth! Turns out he has a slight problem which is called sock thievery. Hope he has just hidden the other missing socks and hasn’t had them for a snack!
