Edit: I am thinking about including SV/LUEW ratings as well as embark and EPI, Heart and Eyes. Of course the puppy price will go up. But we need that information to make informed breeding decisions. If only ever one dog out of a litter is health tested, what good does it? There are only 3 dogs health tested from Champ across 5 litters…. 5 litters and only 3 dogs health tested.

From this point forward, if you are getting a puppy from me, there will be a new clause that every single puppy must be OFA’ed at the age of two years old.

Everyone wants health tested and ethically bred dogs but no one is xraying their dogs to actually give us breeders information.

Once OFA’s are done, the cost will be refunded out of the puppy price.

It cannot be that everyone wants ethically and health tested dogs but we have zero information to work with because no one seems it important to health test the dogs they buy.

From now on, OFA’s will be contractually binding. If you value the health of our breed, you will have no issues contributing to it.

Hulda has OFA excellent hips and normal elbows, she is clear by parentage (Both Bruna and Champ are Embark Clear)
She is predominantly worked and trained in trailing and is a fully task trained and working Mobility Dog.

She has recently gone through the Independent Environmental Evaluation of American Schutzhund and shown off her incredible Stability as well as the American Temperament Test. The only reason she does not have a working title is due to my health and journey. However, I cannot wait any longer. She turns 4 in September and she is the only female I have left myself. Hulda has proven her stability and workability time and time again and I cannot wait to see what she produces.

I will add Videos of her to the page to show her stability and workability.

This is a co-breeding between Michaela Ellyn and I.

From this point forward:

- Limited Registration only!
To get full registration: OFA, SV or PennHip Hips and Elbows and some form of title (Brevet, IGP1 or an equivalent in Rally, Agility etc. a CGCU or ATT is NOT enough!) or working certificate.
Exceptions regarding titles can be made on a case by case basis depending the quality of the dog.

Names: Litters go by the alphabet, only names with the actual letter of the Alphabet can be chosen. If you dont pick a name, I will!
No exceptions!

If you are curious how today went. I dont think you can ask more from young dogs like this. You can also see a difference with the 15months - 2 years old and 3-6 years old with the reaction to the Umbrella.

“G Eros von den Sturmfalken IGP3” placed 9th at the GSDCA Nationals this year, with his awesome owner Megan Flynn. With that they qualified for the WUSV Qualifier. Last year Eros & Megan placed 11th and Eros was selected “Helpers Choice”.

We are so beyond proud of this awesome Team and I wish my parents were alive to see that their legacy lives on in Megan & Eros.

Eros is out of Bruna who is one of the last direct descendants of the Baerenfang bloodline. ❤️

Never a dull moment. Traveled to see my friends in Georgia, 2nd day here and Lara needed an Emergency Spay…

4 out of 9 females, from different males, out of Deja had early Pyometra.

There is a name for it. Its called: Cystic endometrial hyperplasia-pyometra syndrome

I am going to spay all of Dejas females I held back and will personally not continue to breed back into her.

This is very clearly genetics. There is no denying it.

I truly believe the only reason I was able to see it, is because 2 of the females were mine, one was local and with the other one we have contact.

4 out of 9 with early Pyo at 1-2 years of age is not normal.

Also, it can start with Vaginitis, then the Uterine lining thickens and the bacteria gets trapped, which then progresses into a Pyo.

I believe one of the reasons why people don’t see it in their dogs is because of pet owners spaying their dogs before the 1st heat cycle so it is hiding the problem.
Plus, people may not think anything of it and not keep in touch with breeders.

I am heartbroken over having to scratch Deja as a motherline, she has brought us phenomenal dogs and especially super nice Service Dog Candidates. However, I cannot in good conscience continue to breed into CEH.
