Need a service specifically for puppies? Read more! The age limit for this 1 year. Once puppies hit 1 year, the check ins become dog check ins rather than puppy. Until the puppy is 6 months, we recommend scheduling two puppy check ins a day. This is to make sure the puppy is safe, to help with potty training, and to provide entertainment so that the puppy can rest more while you’re gone!

Our dog check ins are for dogs that maybe don’t need the extra exercise but want some kind of play time. With this service, we keep the dog in the backyard or in the house, rather than walking around the neighborhood, like our dog walking service. This service is good for dogs that don’t do well on the leash and dogs that prefer to burn energy playing rather than walking!

Here at Homeward Hound, we offer dog walking as one of our services! This is a pretty common service to book with us. Dog walking is not just walking the dog, we also give food and provide water if needed. We only offer this service for dogs 16 weeks and up. This is to reduce the chances of getting your puppy sick. We wait until dogs are fully vaccinated to walk with us!
