Did you know?🧐 Pure honey is a non-perishable food!🍯

We tend to think natural foods require more effort to keep fresh (fruit and vegetable produce comes to mind). While certain foods need a little effort on your part to maintain their freshness, honey isn’t one of them!

Pure honey does not need to be stored in the fridge after opening. In fact, keeping honey in your fridge will just make it granulate faster!

You should store honey in a container with a tight-sealing lid, and preferably in a dim, slightly warm place. Your pantry will most likely fit that criteria and is the best place to store your honey when not in use.

All pure honey will eventually crystallize/granulate, but that doesn’t mean you’ve stored it wrong or that it’s gone bad! Gently heating the container of honey in a pan of water is a safe, effective way to restore your honey to its liquid form.🍯

Raw honey has so many benefits!
Here is just one of many 👇

Got the sniffles?🤧 There’s an easy, natural way to give your immune system a boost!

Raw honey is full of antioxidants and phytonutrients, and has anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties. Research even suggests it’s an effective cough-suppressant!

Try adding a teaspoon of honey in a cup of hot tea with lemon the next time cold symptoms strike you to get some relief.🍯

You can know you’re using pure, raw, US honey by knowing where it comes from! Buy from your local beekeeper or double check the label when buying at a big store!
