Patagia & Tails Sugar Gliders A small hobby breeder of lineaged, healthy and hand friendly sugar gliders. All joeys are lineaged. All joey adoptions come with a health guarantee.

A small, passionate hobby breeder of lineaged, healthy, hand friendly joeys, and suggie safe toy vendor of the SGSA. Our breeding pairs are methodically selected for health, appearance, and temperament. We are currently producing (classic gray), whiteface, blackface, black beauty, with a variety of mosaics, as well as creme red lines producing for creme-ino, platinum and leu. All the gliders here

are our pets and family members first and foremost, our joeys are handled daily from oop (out of pouch), and carried out and about in daily life to get them comfortable with different settings, sounds, and smells. We believe that you get back what you put into an animal, be good to your pets and they will return that 10 fold with love and loyalty. Striving to improve pet gliders, and to bless other homes with great companions as ours has been blessed. Glider ownership is a continuous journey of growth and learning which we look forward to. When adopting out a joey we like to form friendships, we love receiving pictures and updates, but will also be available day or night, any time, to answer any questions or help how ever I can. I do not promote impulse buys and I work to promote education, and for potential owners, I do so in part by using a questionnaire form to find out where the customer is at in their ownership phase and journey, and identifying any weak points. Located in central Maine; shipping to any glider legal area via airlines, or ground transport at the customer’s expense. A 30% nonrefundable deposit is required on joeys and pre-approved payment plans are accepted. All pet male joeys are neutered before they go home and all joeys adopted are pet only, unless otherwise noted. Our toys are created in a pet-friendly home but no animals come into contact with any supplies or items.

Checked in on our pair expecting the newest white creature coming oop, they also have another joey that looks like a plat or mo, I only got a little glimpse of a piece of thigh this morning, it hasn’t made an appearance outside of mom’s pouch yet. Mom was singing pretty hard last night so I expect the white baby officially oop at anytime. Gave mum and dad a few licks of cream cheese and then a few worms before putting them back to bed. 💕 I love kissing my suggies. Their fur is so clean and soft, the smell of their fur, it’s just what “home” smells like for me. It makes me feel so comfortable. And tell me why our lips seem to fit so perfectly together on their little heads, as if it were meant for kissing 😘 but there’s nothing like suggie kisses and having your nose in their fluffy fur. Despite what they say- can’t tell me not to kiss my animals, cuz I’m doing it til I leave this earth! lol.

A glimpse of what it can look like having sarcoidosis and inflammatory arthritis. In between my injections I find myself backsliding that last week between. Had a bad day today, my joints are angry. Knuckles looking like I punched somebody. Inflammation is ramping back up. I’ll get a few more good days after my next injection 🤞🏻I’m just looking forward to that when I bust tail to get as much as possible done. I really want to get some pulley toys made and pouches made soon but my hands just don’t want cooperate 🥴

Just a reminder if you farm mealworms and use a sterilite drawer set up! (Well check over any set up)

Check the frame well during routine maintenance, and be on the look out for spiders posted up in your drawers. This is the second time we’ve found a spider living in our bins. We began noticing a drawer was being decimated, then I recognized spider droppings and knew for a fact! So we removed the drawers and tipped the frame upside down to find a big phat steatoda with 5 or 6 egg sacs! We gently as possible as removed her and her sacs and put her in a jar for now. But yikes!

(Between all the gliders, the dog, and us, we go through a whole lotta chicken at this house lol. But look at this price! Great prices for top quality meat. The meat is so much better than the frozen and refrozen Perdue and store brand stuff. This could be your sign to check out your local mom & pop market and give them a try!

Popping in quick to say hello, good night and good morning 😃 Things have been out straight and steady busy the last couple weeks. I push and push to try to get everything I can from my injections, I always end up using all my spoons too, but it’s how I get stuff done. We have 3 pretty girls all red eye whites (Ruby leu / creme mo) still looking for hearts to steal 💞 and I need to get on some new pics like yesterday! Reasons why we like and use here :

> Has all the needed fats, vitamins, and minerals to maintain a healthy fluffy glider. Great for breeding pairs, no modifications necessary other than increasing portions

> Is a lower sugar diet compared to other staples. Instead of honey, the diet uses quick oats, which is far less sugars and just as much “bang for the buck” in nutrients.

> Vitamins and supplements go a very long ways and has long shelf life (excluding the boost shelf life but we repackage and vacuum seal so a container lasts for several months ). This makes it a great choice for owners with multiple cages.

> It doesn’t use a lot of fruit (or veggies) which also greatly cuts down on glider’s overall sugar intake.

> Most all suggies like it. I’ve never had a glider not eat hsg.

Another cheat night for my suggies, It’s been a ruff day with mobility and my hands aren’t working well. I forgot to set a reminder to take their chicken out the freezer for staple 🤦🏼‍♀️ so here we are with a cheat night lol. No fresh baby pics tonight, I was far too fatigued tonight once gliders were fed. I’m having a few decent days a week now on these shots so 🤞🏻hoping it continues to be of more benefit, my joints are still badly affected, and the fatigue from what I gather, never gets better, even if disease inactivation is achieved that symptom seems to stick, I’m still a night owl by natural circadian rhythm so it’s been hard, but due to the fatigue I’m thinking about making some changes to my schedule maybe try to get my gliders up earlier at night for coming out. Anyhow, sending good energy to carry into your hump day, new joey pics to come. Babies are still available, cremeino, mosaic, ruby leu/creme mo, some ready to glide in to your heart, others ready in December.
