Nova is a Border Collie-Husky mix who LOVES being outside or playing ball. Her favorite activity is fetch! Against her mom’s wishes, she loves to take her toys outside and scatter them in the yard, especially when it’s snowing. She also loves to roll in fresh flakes of snow!❄️

With so many options on the market, how do you know where to start? Look for the VOHC seal. The Veterinary Oral Health Council seal of acceptance is given to products that have been scientifically tested and meet the VOHC's standards for reducing plaque and tartar in dogs and cats. As Dr. Townsend is currently unwell, our office will be closing for scheduled appointments at noon today.

However, a small team of technicians will remain on site to provide walk-in services, including nail trims, ear cleanings, blood draws, and booster vaccines, from 12-4 pm for our clients only.

We look forward to assisting you soon and resuming our normal hours tomorrow at 8 am. 🐾

Hello Everyone! We are Dirigo Veterinary Care, a clinic dedicated to you and your furry family members. You may have heard of our leader... Dr. Matthew Townsend, a wonderfully kind, incredibly caring, and hardworking individual! He has assembled our team to help provide the best care possible. We strongly believe in creating a family-like atmosphere not only for each other, but for you and your pets as well! We wanted to give you all a first look at our new clinic. We will be located on Waterville Commons Drive in Waterville, Maine. Our projected open is late March to early April 2024. We cannot wait to get started doing what we love, caring for your pets and serving our community! We hope you had a fantastic holiday season, and we are looking forward to meeting you all!
