These two are ready for adoption the Tortie is named Mystery she is very playful, and the Cali is named Almond she had an eye issue so she is a pirate. She has one eye. Both like to be on the lap, and enjoy playtime, They have grown up together.

Adopted 9/3/24. Aurora she is 5 wks old we took her in today, she will be up for adoption in 3 weeks. We at Angel's Wish thought you might to follow her as she grows and gets ready for her forever home. Today she was wormed today, a long with distemper shot and ear treatment.

We had 3 calls today from
People finding kittens. Newborns to a few weeks old. We have no idea on the situation but please start with……

Wait and watch
If you find kittens outside, wait a few hours or even a day to see if the mother cat returns. Watch from a hidden place so you don't scare her away. If the kittens are clean, warm, and have full bellies, the mother has likely been back. However, removing kittens from their mother can reduce their chances of survival, even if you provide care.

If the kittens are crying, feel like tummies are empty it may be time to step in but give mom a chance to step in.

Please remember ( not meant to be rude) mom cats are not like chickens. They do not sit on their nest all day. To sustain 5+ kittens, mom has to hunt A LOT to keep herself fed and feed kittens if they are eating solids. Moving kittens to safer places is another thing they do frequently especially if they think a human knows where they are. Please give mom a chance to come back, stay away, watch very secretly and see what happens. Most likely there is a mom watching you.

Then…. Trap mom then kittens in that order. Make sure a rescue has room to take them in. Provide food and water.

These two are adoption pair, they are small for the age the Tortie is named Mystery she is very playful, and the Cali is named Omen she has had some medical issues and only has one eye. Both like to be on the lap, and enjoy playtime, They have grown up together.

It seems like we just ended spring TNR, and here we are planning for Fall TNR. We will begin the last week of August and go through the first week of October. 6 weeks, 30 appointments. We will be on River Rd/River Road Loop, E Dodge, Del Mesa, Bridgeview, and possibly a few cats elsewhere. This is what our budget allows for. If you are feeding a colony of cats, please reach out to us. If we cannot get to it this time, we will put it on our list. However, in the meantime, you can also help the situation with getting some fixed as you can.
