New Years is right around the corner, which means so are fireworks! If your pet requires a mild sedative for fireworks, please call us to get those filled before it’s too late! To ensure you’re able to get them before New Years, please call us by 12/30 at noon. We cannot promise we’d have any request after that time filled before New Years!

We will be closed Wednesday, 11/27 and Thursday, 11/28 for Thanksgiving! Please have medication refill requests in to us no later than noon on Tuesday, 11/26 to ensure pick up before Thanksgiving. Any requests after that time will be ready for pick up on Friday, 11/29. We hope you have a wonderful holiday!

Another list of greatest needs! Sam will be going back this Saturday and Glenn and I are probably going next weekend to Boone, NC.
They are also in need of PB&J and bread!!

Hi all! Sam is an App State student. He is temporarily out of Boone, NC for the week, but he will be returning soon. I’d like to send him with supplies to help out! I’ve included a picture of the greatest needs there, but they are desperately in need of BABY SUPPLIES - formula, food, diapers, etc. If you would like to help me fill his car (and mine if we get enough) please drop donations at The Vet at BlueRidge 24 Barnett Shoals Rd, or get in touch and I’ll come get supplies from you. Any and all are appreciate.

Edit: The gas leak is repaired and Barnett Shoals is back open!

There is a gas leak in front of our building. Therefore, our driveway is currently off limits. We are not able to have clients come at this time. We will update this post once everything is back open.

Please know, if your pet is boarding or there for surgery, your pet is safe. No need to worry!

If you see Ansley this week, make sure to tell her congratulations and goodbye! Friday will be her last day before she leaves to start vet school at Ross University in St. Kitts. In just a few short years, she will be Dr. Ansley Morris, DVM.
Ansley, we are so proud of the hard work you’ve put in to get to this point and we know you will be an amazing veterinarian! We will miss you!
