Beks! She’s such a wonderful girl and wants y’all to know that your pup could lose alot of floofs just like her!

She got a deshed today, we use a shampoo and conditioner made for loosening up that dead shedding hair that ends up all over your house! Then we dry and that blows out more floofs, after that we use a variety of tools to brush out that shedding hair.

Desheds are great for double coats like Shepherds and Huskies, and even smooth coats like Pits, Chihuahuas and Labs. I’ve even come across Doodles that benefit from deshedding!

Three beautiful pups today! I got to meet miss Ella today and groom her. She is so sweet, then Beazy Bee as I call him came in for a tidy up, he is such a good boy!

Finally a shout out to Harley! He has made so much progress in the past few months. When I first started grooming him he would nip at me and growl for his feet. Now he just pulls a little. He’s actually happy to see me when he comes! This kind of progress always warms my heart. It makes me so happy to see a pup’s progress and the trust they’ve put in me!💕

And it’s super when these awesome pup’s have awesome parents!🥰

Let’s talk for a second about older pups. They may not always look perfect, or have a polished look. I may not be able to finish sometimes because of stress. And that’s ok.

Your pup’s well being is my priority. So sometimes we have to say good enough. A lot of people may think “it’s a spa day” for them. They should be happy.

But even for younger pups it’s not always like that. It can be stressful, it can be scary. Which is why I make sure breaks are had.

And if I were to “push” them through it could be detrimental to the relationship that I have with them. I work hard to gain and keep your pups trust. I promise that I ALWAYS want what is best for them!

I have been grooming Miss Lucy Anna for about 6-7 years now. We have a relationship and even though she really doesn’t care to be groomed, she still trusts me, she still likes being held and cuddled. So today, she had 3-4 mini breaks in between being bathed, dried, having her nails done etc.

And she doesn’t look perfect. But that’s okay because her awesome mom and I both know that Lucy Anna and I did our best today and Lucy Anna isn’t super stressed out and everything was done to keep her safe! And that is always our main goal!
