OPEN DOCK WINTER SESSIONS
Thinking about what to do for those long winter months while you are waiting for the season to return. Think no more. Keep your skills sharp and your teammate on track. Sign up for one or all. Pre-registration is required.
ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK!
Shay is quite the fashionable swimmer. She is sporting a vibrant orange life vest which is a real compliment to her coal black coat. She is the coolest dog! All kidding aside. This life jacket is a real benefit to her. Notice how it keeps her level in the water so she gets the maximum amount of enjoyment from her session.
Blue is sweetie of a Sheepadoodle. Her primary reason for her visits are to keep her hips libered up. But she doesn't know that. She is happy to just be swimming. It is our little secret.
And the race is on! I think it is a tie!
The meaning of dedication is when you travel from Westminster Maryland to Central PA just to get in a little indoor practice experience before leaving Tuesday for the NADD Nationals in Missouri! They are competing in Hydro Dash and we wish them the best of luck and safe travels. Good Luck Team Ahsoka!
WILD WEDNESDAY!
Riley and Laurel did a tag team swim the other night. Last year Riley wasn't a fan of the pool but he gave it another shot with sister Laurel. Now he is the biggest fan! I expect he won't let Laurel come swim without him anymore! Go Riley and Laurel!
MURPHY IS ROCKN' THE POOL
Here is Murphy our Frog Class Graduate reaping the rewards of his schooling. He has come along way since he was introduced to the Tad Pole Class. So proud of the way he has matured and become a super swimmer!
LUNA MAKES A COMEBACK
Luna came for a swim this past weekend and she is so lucky to be back doing what she loves. I learned that she had a terrible fall, which created a seizure and left her paralized in her lower back area. Quick thinking, on her owners part, she was rushed to emergency care. She started to respond rather quickly and so it was decided she would go home to see if she continued to make progress. At this point she couldn't get up on her own and she needed help in everyway. For the next 2 months, her dedicated owners, with the help from family and friends, made sure that Luna was never alone for a minute as she continued making progress and boy look at her now! Luna gave her owners quiet a scare but they never gave up. She has made a miraculous recovery and we are happy to have her back swimming at Soggie Doggie. Welcome Back Luna!
HITCH HIKER FOR KODAK
Miss Kodak was agreed to give this bird a ride around the pool. It gives a whole new meaning to the "Buddy Swim!"
Here is Murphy, with owner, Brooke on graduation day of their Tadpole Class. Murphy really started to get more and more comfortable. Now on to the Frog Class to build more confidence.
This was Gracie Mae's first visit to Soggie Doggie. Are you thinking what I'm thinking?
