We have worked our last two sessions on associating Rogue with her favorite thing... FETCH! She has proven to us she can work on and off leash. What a great breakthrough today! 🐕‍🦺🐕🥳

Meet Oz. Our half dawg. A Corgi full of speed, stubbornness, attitude and sass all compacted on short legs. 🤣🥰
Hes also a lover of scratches, snacks and squeaker balls!

In this video we touch on the basic fundamentals of recall, and intro. To off leash training for his future.
Oz is fairly new to out household and is adjusting quite well to the way we do things.

Some of my tips as a trainer for successful recall 👌

- Long line training! 20ft minimum

- Only ask ONCE. DO NOT repeat your dog's name over and over. It will desensitize them to it!

-Use fun noises, kissy noises, hand claps etc or even a squeaker toy to keep their attention while they run across the yard to you.

-Give a good food reward! A snack they only recieve while practicing this exercise... Make it that more special!
Or, if your dog is not food driven, use that squeaker toy or your dog's favorite toy! Same rules apply when you throw it.

-If you have a multi-dog household like I do, take your dog's out one at a time to work with them!

-Your timing is everything 🙌 do not give them too much of a pause before you "reel" them in.

-Have fun! The more attention you attract, the more your dog will stay engaged and working!

Hi everyone! This is my official Dog Training Page! I'm so excited for this new opportunity!
As well as becoming my own boss! 🙌🤝💪

As many of you know, I've worked for one of the largest pet retailers in the US, training for almost 10 years under them. It's not such a bad thing though. I've learned so much!

I''ve worked with many reputable private and specialized trainers both in PA and UT. I've taught many courses, and have attended many as well over the years.
Thousands of dogs, thousands of happy customers too.

I'm working on getting two very important official certifications also. 🥰
(This is for my own satisfaction) lol

CPDT-KA and my CBCC-KA
Professional dog training certification and my behavioral training certification.

Ill be posting videos of my pups working and clients pups learning as we go through the motions of dog training!
We will be going over many key topics like jumping, leash pulling, heel, recall, place and so on.👌

Some fun and a bit of impulse control! Its ALWAYS good practice to call your dog off of something. Safety is so important no matter what :) If your dog tries to chase cats, cars, squirrels, etc or has a high prey drive, start with the basics of this exercise!
