The Looney Bird Farm The Looney Bird Farm started out as a family Hobby farm, now has become a 501c nonprofit Cat Rescue. We are not a Foster Based Rescue.

We saw a need in our area that we that we felt that we could help with. A few years ago I had a stoke that left me blind in my right eye. I had to leave my job as a security host at Disney World because I had problems with people walking up to me on my right side and I didn't know they were there. My daughter and I decided that I needed something that I love to do. So we started our own cat rescu

Mr.Mcgrew has grown.He is almost six weeks old now. The picture on the left is him at just over a week. And unfortunately, this little baby is blind. He is one of the kittens that we have received from Hardee animal control.

Meet the worm!!!! Jokes aside this is Mr McGoo! Ain’t he just the cutest? This little furball is so fluffy it takes two hands to hold him at his little age. We can’t wait to see how he grows in size and personality!

We have been real busy here at the farm. Thanks to some awesome volunteers. We were able to get the posts up for the new Piggies zone. And we reached out to Hardee Animal control because we heard they were getting over run with kittens. We were able to help take in 3 momma and each with at least 1 to 2 babies plus some very sick kittens. So now we are now way over full and in need of Kitten and cat food. We know at 3 of the kittens are blind also. I you can please help we have included our Chewy and Amazon wish Lists.

Here at the farm we will be ramping up on different Projects!! We are installing all new fencing, building a playground for the animals, and building new chicken coops! we are hoping by fall we will be selling eggs again to help with the costs of the rescue. We will be posting a list of items if you wish to donate.

As we get back into the swing of things here at the farm.. We want to give a huge Thank you to some of our Neighbors. Last fall Our neighbors from across the street built the animal a really big enclosure. All the goats and piggies can get out of the rain in. They love it! Also This past fall we had some tromic times from other neighbors who caused the death of our momma pig (Pua). lets just say a lot of sadness over the last 8 months.. but we are moving on.. with the help of some great Neighbors ( there always a few who do not understand or out right dislike you for what ever reason.) We are here to help our community in a way we know how.
