Amenities include: Indoor and outdoor arena, heated water in the wash stall, tack room area, and MORE.

We are close to Waukee, IA, just 10 minutes from West Des Moines, and 20 minutes from downtown. Message me if you are interested so we can set up a time to visit.

Painted Prairie Acres is looking for a Full Time Barn Manager. Duties will include feeding, turning horses out, cleaning stalls, keeping alley and office clean, keeping arena footing groomed, mowing and w**d whacking in the summer and various other tasks. Experience using farm equipment (small tractor with bucket, Tr3 drag, round bale fork, and mower a plus) perfected. This will be a 40 hour a week job(flexible days off), with two weeks of paid time off throughout the year. Must have valid Iowa drivers license. Please private message us if you’re interested!

Scamp and Soldier are lonely in the pasture! They need friends and PPA has pasture and stall board available. We’re also looking for weekend help turning horses out and cleaning stalls, it is a great way to offset the cost of board. Reach out if interested!
