Introducing Bandit! Bandit was a recent participant in the 2022 Winter Think Pawsitive Snowball League.
Owners: Jena & Tory
Age/Breed: 2 years 11 months (April 2022) / Boston Terrier
Fav Activities: Frisbee, dock diving, agility
Fav Treats: not food motivated but likes freeze dried chicken livers
How do you motivate him if he doesn't like treats? Truthfully, knowing he's about to jump off the dock is all the motivation he needs.
Years at Think Pawsitive/K9 Splash: 2 years
How did you get into dock diving? We noticed he liked fetching in the nearby lake so we went to the 1/2 day dock diving seminar. It was clear he liked this game, so I started renting the pool and realized he was very good! We did our first competition, and from then on we knew it was the sport for him!
Dock Diving Accomplishments: He ranked #2 in the nation in the 2021 season over all Bostons with a season average of 18'9". Bandit was invited to the 2021 NADD National Showcase, but we were unable to attend. Bandits NADD (North America Diving Dogs) personal best is 19'9". His personal best in the 2022 Winter Think Pawsitive Snowball Splash League was 19'6"
How was your experience with the Snowball Splash League? Would you do it again?
I love the Snowball League and have done it twice. It helps keep him in competition form. It's not too big, so I can fit it in on Sunday, and still have lots of day left for other things.
