This is the horse that started the 5 Hills story.
It is over a decade since we had the idea to get her handled and sold.
Instead we bought her and her side-kick pony a home.
It’s a decision we haven’t regretted.
When we decided to open for business we never aimed to be the biggest or the fanciest.
Nope. We are happy being a “Mom and Pop” outfit.
If you choose 5 Hills as a home for your horse, it’s our commitment to you that we’ll treat your horse like one of our own (minus the “buy a house” thing).
Our board is pretty straight forward - we don’t charge a separate fee to stand with your horse for vet calls or farrier visits, we don’t charge to blanket your horse (winter, rain or skeeter season), and we throw in fly spray, fly masks, salt licks, dewormer, and a grazing muzzle.
We want you to spend time with your horse, but we don’t want you to feel hassled about taking care of the bare necessities. That’s our “Mom and Pop” job.
