This beautiful girl is Maya and she is looking for her forever home. She is a spayed female German Shorthair, 7.5 years old and UTD on shots. She gets along great with cats and small dogs. She is looking for a home with a large backyard to run in and a soft couch to sleep on. Not sure how she would do with larger dogs and I wouldn’t recommend small children. Job duties would include feeding and bathing pets, cleaning kennels, small amount of computer work and laundry. Hours are from 7:30 to noon or 3:30 to 6. Must be able to work weekends, and have some week day availability from 3:30 to 6. Would be around 15-20 hours per week. Pay ranges from $10 to $13. ❤️❤️EMBER IS HOME!!!!❤️❤️

162 long hours ago, this little guy escaped the shop and sent us all on a wild goose chase! This morning I got to return him to his mama 💜 my heart is so happy.
I have so MANY people to thank and I probably can’t even name a quarter of you. I am overwhelmed by the support of this community and those outside of Waupun. You guys have searched right along with me, shared my posts, gave so much helpful advice, and put me in contact with people who could assist.
I wish I could hug you all today 🩵
-Special thanks to Gaby & Jordan from Lucky Dog Rescue who provided the trap, camera and a whole bunch of knowledge and patience. Thank you to Caleb from RH Aerials for his many drone flights in the wee morning hours searching for this boy. This little sweetie is almost ready for a home of her own! She has been with me for a couple of weeks now after she was found in the middle of nowhere. Help!! Looking for the family of this dog! No, he’s not lost. He is my foster dog that I have been taking care of for three weeks. We have been looking for his forever home and I can’t for the life of me figure out why he is not adopted yet. His name is Wasabi, 12 week old Australian Shepherd mix, male, UTD on all age appropriate shots. Potty training in progress but doing great, cat friendly, dog friendly, super smart and super cute 💙💙

Well I did it again 😂 fostering 2 babies again from The Hope Highway.
This it Sage a little tri colored female. Such a cuddle bug. Loves to play with her brother and then nap next to you on the chair ❤️ around 9 weeks old
And Wasabi her bigger brother (Sage was adopted into this little and raised by Wasabi’s momma). Wasabi is all black except his white chest. He loves to play hard and chew on bones and then pass out on your lap 😂 also around 9 weeks

Our girls work very hard and they love their jobs, and they deserve a raise too! So we wanted to let everyone know that there is a price increase coming for all grooming customers!

Winston is 3 years old. He went to obedience school. I’ve been told he will chase cats until they beat him up and then he leaves them alone. I’ve had no issues with the two cats at my house tho! He requires a fenced yard, medium energy dog. Will pull on leash but working on that! Probably only children over 4 years of age because he is a little jumpy .
Winston has resided with a small and medium sized dog and 2 cats and is dog/cat friendly.

there are zero known behaviors. He's a good dog he's just needed to be rehomed due to personal issues
he's about 35 lb and overweight

I am thankful to have the best group of co-workers working with me ❤️ They handle all the busyness, craziness and tiredness that comes with caring for so many pups and kitties and even a few other species and they do it extremely well.
Every now and then we get to get away and just kick back together. Today we enjoyed the day at Texas Steakhouse and Appleton Axe which also has an escape room (which both teams mastered btw 😉) Thank you all (and also those that couldn’t make it) for all that you do for me. You are all amazing 😊.

When you have been fostering as long as we have, you find that your foster dogs behaviors and mannerisms tell a story. They are a little glimpse into what their past may have been like. This is what Pipers (Patience on the HH site) is saying....

I was just easy money.....Piper seems to have been robbed of her puppy hood. My guess is she never got the 8 weeks with her mom that all pups deserve and need. Sold as soon as possible so her people could make a few bucks. I say this because even after being with us for a while now she still doesn't really know how to play, even with 10 other dogs to play with. She tries....but doesn't know how.

I was property....Piper is at the most, 2 years old yet has already been a mom herself. Her pups taken from her to sell for easy money. I can only imagine how hard it was for her to watch them go.

I was just a dog....not worthy of a warm bed or basic vet care. I'm sure she wondered why her previous people didn't notice her loosing weight and the pain in her eyes.

I was just garbage.....given away like garbage when her people realized they couldn't sell her pups as fast as they thought.

After time with us, I feel her change, I see her happiness and I see her realize her worth. It's an absolutely heart warming thing to witness, although you wish they never had to go through the bad times at all.....but at least they are over and ahe is in to new beginnings.

Now Pipers story is something like....

I am loved - I snuggle on the couch with my humans and I shower them with kisses because I know they love me.

I'm healthy - we found out I had pancreatitis and needed a low fat diet so that food wouldn't cause me pain. I love pancakes, mashed potatoes (with yogurt butter not real butter) and low fat cottage cheese! Oh and my diet dog food too.

I'm happy - I'm figuring out how to play with toys and I like it. I get to play fetch with the green ball which is my absolute favorite thing to do and I'm good at it!

I am safe - I know, no matter what, my foster family loves me and is doing everything they can to find my perfect forever home so I will never suffer again.

Just a few observations from a foster mom....

If your looking for a sweet, loving, loyal dog that wants nothing more than to be part of your family, then look no further. 💛

Hello everyone! My name is Tulip. 🌷I am a Texas girl who came up with her babies and am being fostered by the wonderful people at The Hope Highway. My babies have all found their forever homes and now it’s my turn! I am an energetic, younger female pocket pit bull mix (about 40 lbs) that loves to play and enjoys a competitive game of tug of war! I’m not always fond of other dogs so I think I would be best being the only dog in the house. Cats don’t seem to dig my wild side either 😕. Hello I’m Bixby! I am around 8 weeks old and my mama was a pit mix. I don’t know what my daddy was but my foster mama says I will be around 40lbs.
I am a typical puppy who loves to play and rough house with my foster sister puppy. I try to play with my foster brother kitties but I guess they think I’m annoying and smack me on the head so I leave them alone.
My foster mama says she can’t believe how good I am about going potty outside. But why wouldn’t I?? She gives me treats when I do those things outside! And I love treats!
I do like to sleep in a crate at night and last night I stayed in there for the whole night and didn’t make one single mess!! It was a two treat morning mom said.
My brother Austin went to his forever home on Saturday. I’m not sure what that means but it sounds like fun. Are you my forever home?

And it’s official! I have decided to name the boys Austin (brown) and Bixby (black & white) after cities in Texas where they are from. And I decided to do the names with the alphabet (like hurricanes, since my house looks like it went thru one some days 😂) and will try to continue this trend with other puppies 😊 Both boys are still available thru The Hope Highway. ⚠️ This boy is looking for a furr-ever home ⚠️
Sir Oliver Valentine, aka Oliver was born 4/17/2022. He is a short haired Border Collie mix. We do not know what he is mixed with, except good boy. He is colored black & white and is not yet neutered. His breed and age make him a very excitable, energetic boy who loves to run and play. He has been boarding with us since November 19, 2022 due to unfortunate circumstances. After boarding with us for 2 months, his owner thinks it would be best to find him a great home. He knows sit and shake but at this time, that’s about it. He would love a big yard with room to run but may need to be trained in a fenced area. He does jump and dig at this time but may grow out of that habit with age. He really just needs a home who will love him, give him attention, and train him properly.
